This was a different trip for me. A close friend of mine passed away several weeks ago. Prior to his passing he had asked me if I would be able to take him to the 2017 Yuma Airshow. After he passed I thought the only way to honor his wishes would be to carry his ashes with me on a trip that had the purpose of scattering his ashes in a manner that I thought he would approve of. So, I carried his ashes west and they rode with me to this airshow prior to scattering them elsewhere in an undisclosed location. Had he been a biker I would have taken him for one last ride, but I doubt he had ever been on a motorcycle. Had he been an Irishman we would have had a real wake.He would have enjoyed the show. (Note: his ashes were not scattered at Yuma.) These photos are dedicated to Bobby Porter.
