What clears and paints does Mr. Mark Setter work best with?

I discovered a couple months ago that GSI Mr. Mark Setter takes Pledge with Future Shine off (like a paint stripper), so lesson learned partially. I made a mental note of that and told myself that if I am using kit decals from Hasegawa, Mr. Mark Setter and Sol should work best since Hasegawa references Gunze paints in their instructions. So for my clear in prep for decals on my current project, I used Testors Model Master Gloss Clear Lacquer in the 1 ounce bottle, thinned and airbrushed onto the model. I allowed that to dry for several days and then tried to decal the model. The Mr. Mark Setter ate into the Testors clear lacquer as well. I only did about 6 small decals on the interior of a model. On the larger of the 6 decals, if I was able to get the decal in place quickly, there is no damage once the product dried. However in one area where the decal folded up on itself and I had to work with the decal for a couple minutes to get it into place and flat, it damaged the clear and the clear will have to be sanded slightly and recoated.
I purchased the product from Sprue Brothers and it has a label in English, but that label only contains the required warnings about it containing solvents, being flammable and poisonous. If there are instructions regarding using the product on the bottle, they are in Japanese. Can someone tell me what clears they have used successfully that Mr. Mark Setter does not attack? I thought of obtaining some Gunze Clear Gloss Lacquer, but none of my local hobby stores carry it. Gunze products, in general, can be hard to source here in the states. I can order some from Sprue Brothers, but I would like to know for certain that the system works within itself before investing more money in paint. I have an abundance of clears in my paint cabinet now.
