Running an Iwata HP-CH...air supply piston valve will not return to shut off air..What I've done:
1)mostly use enamels and lacquers
2)break down and use ultra sonic cleaner every 4-5 use's..no ammonia products/usually 409 or strong degreaser...usually use lacquer to clean after use
3)replaced piston valve as coating/plating had worn off and showing a brass(?) color
4)piston valve seems to stick in the O ring where piston valve push's the piston in the air supply assembly
5)removed said O ring and seems to be normal, cleaned off (wasn't any dry paint on it) reinstalled
6) with the air supply valve assembly off,and pushing the lever down appears piston sticks in O ring
7)piston in air supply valve assembly seems to function as it should, i.e. returns when pushed(spring loaded)

Any suggestions welcome..and if all else fails..is there a repair center for this puppy? Thanks Much..Tom
PS: I don't claim to know it all, but have been airbrushing and tearing down for years, so not a novice at this
