Does anyone know who makes any?

I am looking at a set, but it is from a "new" company who says their decals are printed by Chartagraf in Italy... (?)

I have decided to back off of the JP-5 for a kit or two, and have been itching to do another 17. I am just looking for something other than the 91st. (I have nothing against the 91st. I have decals for Wabash Cannonball that I will use on my F model)

So I am stuck to either use my Bit o Lace decals, or try these new ones.

Anybody know of any others? Thanks!

used to make 303rd "Thunderbird" in 1/48. Swanny's B-17 site lists a bunch of decals that aren't 91st, but aren't necessarily 100th, either.

Use the Bit O Lace decals!!!

What's wrong with one of the 447th BG's lovely yellow-tailed "Box K" fortresses out of Rattlesden?

I can get you some suggestions for alternate planes if you don't want to do Bit O Lace specifically.

But glad to hear your doing a Fort, I'd like to see how your project goes.

I actually was going to use some, either the Bit o Lace, or Milk Wagon. I have 6 Forts total, 2 F and 4 G.

At some point, 1 of the planes will be a 15th AF bird, but the rest will be the more colorful 8th. I would like 1 plane each from a different group that had either an unusual history, or is colorful.

However, a 100th BG plane is a must, simply because I never see them being built.

100th BG decals

Cutting Edge did a Pyn Up sheet (48-011) with Our Gal Sal.

Possum Werks has a sheet as well

I'm sure there are others, but those are the ones I can think of off hand

Try to find Superscale sheet 48-583. "Shilaylee", 349th BS, 100th BG. Tires were white walled. There's a photo on the 100th BG website.

Chartagraf in Italy has been around for a while. The print decals for Italari, After Burner Decals and Flying Leatherneck Decals.

From the reports the Chartagraf decals are very good and are in register more than most.

List of 1/48th 100th BG decals:

September 3 2008, 1:02 PM

Here are four sheets I know of:

Possum Werks "Miss Conduct"; 418th BS; NMF (these are the ones
printed by Cartograf)
PYN-UP "Our Gal Sal"; 351st BS; OD/NG
SuperScale "Shilaylee"; 349th BS; OD/NG
AeroMaster "Super Rabbit"; 351st BS; NMF

These are 1/48th. There may be others. I think most of them were also done in 72nd (maybe not PYN-UP?). Another in 72nd is "Fever Beaver", kit decals with the Airfix kit.

And here is a 100th bird I did for the Nashville reunion last year (Please excuse the poor lighting!):
