a clear glass faring to replace the nose turret. I am turning one of my Stirling's into a glider tug. I could go through the agony of carving a wooden form and heat and smash one, but I thought maybe someone here can point me to people that make them already. Also does anyone make an after market decal sheet for the McRoberts Reply? I wanted to build my 2nd Stirling as this aircraft. Thanks

Stirling stuff.........

MacRoberts Reply is on the Kits at War sheet #K7/8 along with quite a few other interesting aircraft. I got my sheet from Joe at FlightDecs. I have the Falcon vac set of RAF bomber canopies but it does not have the nose piece you're looking for.

I'll have my completed Stirling up on the Airfix build forum in a few days.

Your Stirling looks beautiful, which has prompted me to pull mine out of the stash......

Do you have the address for Joe at FlightDecs? Never dealt with him before. Guess I will have to carve a form after all. Thanks for the response.

Not really

But you might want the Falcon vac canopy and turret set as the kit glass is worthless anyway. But you will have to make your own nose.

Have you seen the excellent Stirlings in the Airfix GB?
