The inside stringer ribbing for the flaps either as a seprate flap piece or as a P.E. part. Though it took me one evening to create this detail from plastic strips for my Heller DT-33B project. Still trying to find the Aires fret that has this detail that is long OOP !
With new kits, I always hope that the kit manufactures realize all aspects in kit engineering of their subjects and easily miss certain details. Especially since the flaps bleed down and are always exposed!
Bear in mind this may be a simple business decision...

as engineering the molds to include that detail either on the face of the mold itself or as a separate part would incur additional up-front costs that Platz likely decided they couldn't afford to absorb. We often forget that our favorite companies have to fund these productions somehow, and each "hole" in a mold means additional money for tooling costs and raw materials.
