Is the planned 1/32 scale B26 Marauder kit still planned for release this summer.

I'll get Doc Brown and Marty McFly to look into it...

It's still as planned as planned can be.  But planned release dates and actual release dates are very rarely the same...

What we need first in 1/32 is.....

May 31 2012, 2:51 PM

some of these companies that churn out figure set after figure set of German soldiers, break stride and give us at least ONE doggone set of U.S. ground figures for all these cool aircraft kits that have come out the last few years. (I'd even settle for 1/35th) I just can't "figure" out why a company thinks they wouldn't sell enough to make it worthwhile. Mike Good does tremendous work for Ultracast, but how about some poses like sitting on the hood of a jeep, or sitting on a wing, or having an arm resting on a prop blade while posing with his ground crew for a photo? I'd also like to see some figures appropriate for the south Pacific areas, shorts, t-shirts, etc., that could also be adapted for use around naval subjects.
Now that the rant is over, yes, a B-26 would be fantastic.

See??? These are exactly what I was talking about...

but these will be very limited, like the Skyraider figures. Would it be so hard for Dragon or Miniart or whomever, to come out with this stuff? These guys would even be adaptable to armor subjects, like working on a 2 1/2 truck, or a tank engine.
Looks like I'll have to snag a few of these guys...thanks for the heads-up, Brett!

1/32 figures

yeah, I've been whining about this for years too.

we seem to be stuck forever with Revell figures with their arms fused to their legs, and that's it.

There are a huge number of 1/32 aircraft kits out there, all crying for figures.

No idea why Dragon, Tamiya, et al don't see a market for this..
