I was reading all the comments today about ZM kits and saw one with some negative references about the ZM TA 152H1 kit. Most of what I've read praises the kit.

I've got one in the stash. Anybody want to enlighten me about what needs correction? Also what are the gripes about the kit.

Just the facts just the facts no name calling.

Right off the top of my head....

The props are not quite right. The rivet and panel details are heavy rather than "wrong" (well mostly...) and the motor details are a bit limited and heavy/soft. I'll get back to you on other nit-picks.

With care, it looks to build to a fine replica

Jim, that might have been my comment,

when I mentioned the Skyraider surface detail is an improvement from ZM's previous release, the Ta-152.

I didn't mean to imply the 152 was at all a poor kit, only to demonstrate that ZM seems to be improving with each release.

While I am no experten, I can tell you I am impressed with the general quality of the kit, and I have seen one on a contest table, and it builds up into a very fine model.
