adding air tank to compressor

I have been thinking on adding an air tank to my Badger 180-11 I noticed a slight pulsation when spraying

has anybody done it with positive results

It surely can be done, but assuming you're using an automotive air tank, if you want an auto shutoff, will need to have a regulator/pressure switch, check valve to keep air in the tank from backing into the compressor when it's off, fittings, tubing or hose to connect them all, and a way to attach the collection to the tank. Not impossible, but for $120-150 for a "plug n play" version that is ready to run, don't think it's worth it...

After decades of study, it has become obvious that Murphy was an optimist...
