Don't forget Tam Tam and another mom/pop shop

September 27 2013, 7:03 PM

Keep going down the Chuo dori about 3 more blocks and you'll see TamTam on like the seventh floor of a building on the corner.

About 2 blocks east of there is another mom & pop store stocking thousands of old kits. If you want to relive your childhood, go there. Tons of cheap stuff in bags outside too (found a 1/48 hasegawa A-7D for Y1200 two days ago). Tons of books too. it's on a side road, and I don't know the name, just that I always walk to the TamTam shop and go east... happy.gif

...there practically one on every corner! Actually, to tell the truth, some are squirrelled away down tiny side streets and easy to miss, so follow directions carefully. I heard that the 2-story shop specializing in old kits closed--bummer.
