wild goose chase did you attend the IPMS Nationals in Santa Clara around 1995?

I sponsored a special category in the contest . You had to use the old Monogram 1/48 P-51B kit but could do what ever you wanted to it. The winner made a futuristic race boat out of his with the wings as solid sails. I have been seeking photos for years of this model. Any of you ever seen it?

Hi Mike, if you could chase down the Journal issue that had the coverage of the convention winners, might it have a picture of this model?
I have some issues from 1995, but that year the convention was in Albuquerque. I'll keep digging around, but don't know if I have the pertinent issue.

I pulled the 1998 Nats coverage Journal issue

Vol. 10, Issue 6. No picture of the model.

That said, I remember the model. I don't know if it's because I saw it in the flesh, or because I saw a photo. Maybe issue 5? Or the first issue of Volume 11. Afraid i don't have those at hand.
