nose weights for B-24 and B-29

Has any one actually kept track of how many grams of weight is needed to keep these two 1:72 scale tail sitters on there noses?

two but you may not have enough for a B 29.

You can also use the engine nacelles for added "ballast"...personally, I use #8 bird-shot pellets (they're small, heavy and fit into some pretty small/tight places).

Bird shot is my "go to" weight for those reasons!

I got a 25 lb bag in the '80s and still have 5+ lb remaining. It fits into small spaces and can be secured with epoxy, white glue or CA depending on the application...
After decades of study, it has become obvious that Murphy was an optimist...
