Anyone use a reciprocating filer?

I'm contemplating a project where an electric reciprocating filer would be very helpful. I've seen plenty of pneumatic ones, but electrics are rare. The only one I can find is the one linked below - but it appears to be OOP. Anyone have experience with this tool? Anyone know of a similar tool?

They have a couple of tools that may fit your need.

Hmmm. Maybe so...

I overlooked their MicroLux sander. Looking at the photo I jumped to the conclusion it was an orbital pad sander. But the text indicates otherwise. It appears to reciprocate. Plus there is a saw version that looks identical. Maybe I'll spring for it.

I bought the little MicroLux belt sander many (25?) years ago. It's not the highest quality and it screams like a banshee, but it's still running and has come in handy many times.

Thanks for the tip.

Don't know if this will fit your bill, but

I've wondered if the Amope nail filer system would be useful for modeling. It comes with 3 grits (coarse, medium, and fine) I googled it and it can be found at a lot of stores. See link for Wal Mart. If you decide to try it, let us know how it worked.
