I have built a few Platz T-33's and find they are really the best kit in 1/72 for T-33 and they build up rather nice. Ease of construction etc...

They tooled it in a way that seems they could easily do F-80 family of kit.....is this a possiblity or are they strictly Japanese market and the JASDF never really flew the F-80.

What are everyones thoughts on Platz doing a release of a 1/72 F-80. I think it would do well??

. . . are even labeled T-33/F-80 so you gotta figure they had plans (at least at one time) to produce an F-80 kit. I wish they would as the Airfix, Sword, and another odd plastic kit that are out there can be bettered. C'mon Platz!

THE PLatz builds nicely and I would rather build a Platz F-80 than the Sword which IS A real bear of a build.

I am working the their RF-80 right now and it requires a lot of extra CARE. Especially in fitting the nose and the intakes.

Wouldnt it be nice to see Platz do the F-80 family w/ recce nose and perhaps a new tooled F-94 family while they are at it. I know I am pushing it but they over half the tooling in the bag to do the F-80/T-33/F-94 family of jets.
