I have an Arado 231 with the code KK+BP
need to know the unit please. Thanks.

It's not a unit code.

Since no one else has responded, here goes:

"KK+BP" was the 'Stammkennzeichen' (factory-assigned radio call letters, which the aircraft retained onits documentation, although it was usually painted-out / replaced with an 'Einheitskennung' - the unit's markings) of the Ar231V1. There were numerous examples of operational aircraft 'still' using their SKZ (Fi 156, Ju 52, some Ar 196s, etc., etc.)

'V' was for 'Versuchs' - indicating this is a factory-test airframe. Only a very very few of the Ar 231 were built, as on-the-water testing revealed they were rather delicate, and anything besides a glass-smooth sea state caused them trouble. I know of no operational use of these machines.
