Hi, would any Luftwaffe expert pleas help me by identifying for me the shade of very bright, light-ish, green used in some Luftwaffe camouflage schemes. Appropriate numbers would be helpful. Thanks in advance, I know I won't have to wait long! Alan F, Smith

Probably RLM82 Lichtgrun

This was the late war light green camo used on just about everything. From approximately late '44 on. Earlier schemes may have had field mixed colours or occasional use of RLM25, which is very bright but sometimes used in field applied camo.

I hope that helps!

For late war schemes this would be RLM 82, BUT

Some model paint maker5s got the number reversed with late war Dark Green. IIRC it was Model Master. Light/Bright Green is 82, Dark Green is 83.

RLM 82

The official color is listed as RLM 82 Hellgrün. It's is close to FS 24097 but a touch lighter with slightly more yellow. This is based on comparing many original samples.
