..you never know what you're going to experience. Good, bad or indifferent, it all depends on those who raise their hands to judge. Even with all of the training and standards at AMPS judged events this is still true to a certain extent. At the end of the day it's still a crap shoot, and subjective to a large degree. I wasn't wild about how an entry of mine did a the madcity show, but them's the breaks.
I actually liked the venue the show was in this year, it was just big enough, the lighting in the contest room was pretty decent, and having a bar in the basement of the place didn't hurt either!
