Townsville Scale Modelling Expo

The Townsville Scale Modelling Club would like to send
out an invitation to all modellers in North Queensland
to come and participate in our 2005 Model Expo.
Entries to our Model Competition are welcome from all modellers whether they are Club members or not.
Or if you prefer you can just place a model in the general model display.
The theme for 2005 is models of the VE/VP era giving lots of scope for the topic that you could model.
The venue is: Thuringowa City Council Soundshell
Thuringowa Drive, Townsville/Thuringowa
Date: Saturday June 11th. & Sunday June 12th.
9.00 a.m. to 4.00p.m.

Fred, its gone very well. 126 Entries in the ModelComp
from Brissie, Cairns,Mackay & Airlie Beach. Standard has
been exceptional. Will be posting an Expo 2005 Gallery on our website in the next few days.
Interesting that we had so many in the Diorama Class that we were able to split it: Aircraft Dioramas and Military
/ Other. The winner was a SWP scene of two P-61s being serviced on a dispersal.
Running out of space for the display so we'll be looking for a bigger venue in 2006.
