The Roanoke Valley Chapter of the International Plastic Modeler's Society is pleased to host the 2007 Region 2 Convention. Theme" "007-License to Build"-- October 12-13th, 2007 at the Roanoke Civic Center Exhibit Hall. Over 84 categories offered for competition as well as 20+ special awards. Gravity drags, carrier landings, "Make-N-Take for the kids, seminars, speakers including Lynn Ritger, Floyd Werner, Joe Koenig, WW-II veteran, D-Day Memorial founder and author Bob Slaughter "Omaha Beach and Beyond" and more. Raffle, Mega-Raffle and "Super-Raffle will be offered both days of the show. Full Buffet Banquet (with cash bar) before awards ceremony Saturday night.
