This coming Memorial Day, May 23 through 26, the annual New York Air Show will be held over Jones' Beach.
The show will go off at around 1030 hours on both Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th of May, 2009.
This year's featured acts will the United States Air Force THUNDERBIRDS Flight Demonstration Team, AND the Canadian Air Force SNOWBIRDS!!
Come on out and see the show and spend a day at the beach. Then stop by the American Airpower Museum in Farmingdale and see all the action on the ground where all air show operations will begin and end.
The museum is on the former grounds of Republic Aviation, and housed in one of the hangers used in the construction of some of our favorite modeling subjects, the P-47 Thunderbolt, F-84, and F-105. Many other WWII aircraft live, and fly from the museum on weekends, including this coming airshow.
The American Airpower Museum will also be the host site of NorEastCon 2010, the IPMS/USA Region One Show and Contest. Come on down and check it out guys and girls, you will have a great time, I kid you not!
