In ENB it depends on the LLG you are in but they do not cost more than K1000.00.

I guess if you are in love with someone then you are willing to pay any price. It doesn't matter where she comes from. I am from ENB however, I wouldn't mind paying K30,000 for a beautiful and intelligent highlands girl including pigs and muruks. As long as I know she is worth it, I will pay!!!

everyone comparing bride prices is out of context. bride prices is not 'paying' for a gals hand, HAHAH its like the age old which guys penis is bigger. Bride price in the highlands were for many reasons; to streathen relationships within a tribe (one borrows/recieves from their fellow tribes-men entrenches and indebts them more to their ppl), its a payment of gratitude to the parents thanking them for raising the girl thus far, and many more reasons.... which i could keep typing for a very long time. But what if I pay the K100 000 and a car as pride price and the woman dies next year through natural causes? Do I get a reimbursment? What if there's no other woman in the family to substitue for my loss?

The Ultimate goal of every PNGean should be to marry overseas, this creates the greatest genetic variance making your kids chances of withstanding a certain disease very low compared other Papua New Guineans face lesser, That is why if you can't marry overseas then marry from another province..its all about having healier less vulnerable kids,..if you see a white woman, ask her out..they hestitate its all our producing better offsprings... The purpose of sexually reproduction is to pass on your genes to fertile offsprings, who will inturn pass on to their offsprings and so on so forth, thus adding your gene to the gene pool. So if you are a highlander/sepik or another province apart from central and you set your eyes on this particula papua meri..you must fertilize her at all cost..if it cost you are fortune (say 100 000 plus) the impprtant things is your children will be more advantaged, and will be fertile to pass on their tratis..if this type of different racial marriage continues..it was Identified that certain Miline bay villagers possess a gene that makes them healthy carries to AIDS..so you see if you fertilize them your children might possess the same trait.. follow this simple motto:
