How do you know she/he is meant for you?

Now the million dollar question!

How do you tell or know that a guy/girl is meant for you?

It would be great if those of you who are married can give their insight as to how you decided that your partner was the one and what convinced you to marry that person.

I am single so just want some tips from married people or anyone for that matter. Give your real opinions as I am sure this will help other people who read this post as well.

For a start I think two people should have similar interests, but then it is said that "opposites attract". What do they mean by that anyway?

Over to you all...Peace!

i dont believe there is anything such as true love or such. what i view as a loving and lasting relationship is one where there is respect and mutual understanding of each others needs. there must be compromise and sacrifice to make any relationship work, and it must be maintained over the entire course of it.

love, in my view, is nothing more that a virus thats lasts for several weeks before our bodies immunity beats it into submission. in saying that, should you still wish to continue a relationship with the person after the effects have worn off, all points mentioned above must be applied for the relationship to flourish and prosper.

Every part of you will tell ya, if he or she is meant for you. Love is not like, your eye catches someone and your heart leaps for her/him and you feel you wanna get close to her all of a sudden. If she/he is meant for you, you will feel that from your heart, mind, soul and your body.

When you feel drawn towards someone, you know that she/he is meant for you. When someone means a great deal to you and you are in relationship with that person, it does not stop there, you have to put in all you effort to make it work. Relationships have its ups and downs. It is when you get really low in a relationship, that relationships start to grow roots and you mature into it. Many people give up when they start to experience the downs in their lifes, never realising that, this are the times when both you and your partner can grow more deeper and start to accept each other.

I agree with anon that both have to sacrifice their individuality and think of it as a duality. Making decisions together and enjoying each others company, loving anc caring for that person each day as if you have just become friends. A lot of relationships fail because, they dont tend to reignite their love for each other every day, reminding each other how much he/she means for you.

In order to build relationships it has to come from both parties. When two people love each other, it comes naturally to build on their relationship and live happily. Yes, problems and worries can come into their relationships, but those are tests to see if their foundation is right. When the foundation is set up properly in a relationship, it can withstand wind, rain, and storms.

She/he is meant for you, if you decide to take that step and hold onto it, no matter what. Only then will you find our if he/she was really meant for you. You have to be in it to find our if she/he is meant for you, if you just stand at the sideline and decide on it, she/he might be taken and you will regret it.

Masalai bro, yu tok stret yah. I heard that straight from a girls lips as well. She's married and she said to treat your lady like a baby and also satisfy her sexually and she will never leave you. But first she said that as a man, I have to decide what I want in a woman.

Wanbel stap.
