4 out of 6 were not enough yesterday, 2/3 on both trebles so I am getting down on earth now.
I am backing next treble today:
Napoli v Catania, Home win, 1.60
Denver (+5) v N.Jersey, Away win, 1.70
Washington v Phoenix (+5), away win, 1.70
-------
5 units staked / Odds 4.62
I think Napoli will continue their revival, after winning Messina they should beat another Sicily team, which is even worse away (0-1-8!!). Perhaps another 1-0 win.
N.Jersey over Denver should pass, even when Denver plays much better home than away, N.Jersey convinced me against Lakers, hope they can continue with good results on their western trip. Washington for me is very unpredictable, but usually lose their home matches against top western teams and Phoenix certainly are one of them. I am procortius, thow and am taking handicap +5 on them. Think, it should pass.
Our bookie gives out odds for next week, I cant wait!!
The New Orleans Hornets could be without their top two scorers when they host the surging Milwaukee Bucks.
Jamal Mashburn, averaging a team-high 20.8 points, is questionable for this matchup after straining his right hamstring in the Hornets' 97-96 overtime loss to Portland on Friday. It was New Orleans' sixth loss in nine games.
Baron Davis, the team's starting point guard and second-leading scorer at 16.8 points a game, will definitely miss this game. He will undergo arthroscopic surgery to repair torn cartilage in his left knee
Thanks Mirko, important info, cause I already tended towards Milwaukee- they are in a very good form, completed their squad, now I think they are favourites in this match!!
wondering if you are interested in the NBA outrights, I see William Hill still have Lakers in 3rd favourite position even though they are not even in a play of position, and teams in the other western division are a good bit above them meaning only three teams may progress from their division?
I am a Pacers fan as they are my local team and they are now 32 and 12 only one behind Sacremento now, I think at 11.00 they are a value pick. They can go one step further this year and make Conference final I think, they can beat Celtics easy this year but I think New Jersey is the team they need to beat for a psycologial edge before the play off games.
What are your thoughts, will Lakers not be in the play offs this season and who do you think can win the Championship. As a local in indiana I think I need to put some money on Pacers just to make the live games more fun, I go and watch them downtown, no chance of seeing live without a season ticket but watching in bar outside the stadium is more fun Can't wait for them this year. Last years against New Jersy was a real Thriller in overtime.
I am Sacramento fan and I think La Lakers don't have any chance against them or Dallas.
Sacramento have 10 good players this season and I think LALakers will play like Oakland last night(without spirit)
New Jersy with Mutombo back will be serious oponent from East.
Well, Jhim, i dont bet outright, cause I dont have a chance of doing so (I had my online bookie for a year (SWWW), but decided to stick with our bookie, lost some money online cause I wanted to bet every possible event- have a job where I have a lot of time for doing that, hehe).
About NBA winner, I was thinking a lot about it and more I think more I find one team popping out of the rest- Sacramento Kings should do it this year, IMO.
There is a problem with Eastern conf. teams, because after Chichago fell apart (Jordan, Pippen and co left), West seams to take over and teams like Sacramento, Dallas and San Antonio are better then any eastern team, IMO.
About Lakers, they have 2 players, but the rest is really awful.
They should make playoffs, since they are not far behind now, but starting it from 6th or 7th position, well even they are going to find it tough.
And after last years Western Conf finals, there are Sacramento eagerly awaiting them.
So, to shorten a bit, I think, Indiana and New Jersey are most likely to reach Eastern Conf. finals (as you already stated), their teams dont depend on 1 or 2 players (specially Indiana), but after that? Who knows.
Both Sacramento and Indiana are strong home teams, so perhaps it might go into 7th game and then it is going to be important, whos home advantage it is going to be. So Indiana should try to achieve that, Sacramento now lost three straight!
Certainly hope for you to enjoy your team watching them all the way to finals, Jhim!!
But I won't bet on Sacremento as they are favourites and not a good enough value imo. The thing about Pacers this year is they are 21-1 at home, best in USA, this coud be vital come the play offs, but it is a long way off. A couple weeks ago there was a noticable gap between east and west, its not so noticeable, Pacers are only a game behind sacremento. I think this could be the year for the eastern but for me it has to be Pacers, cannot see jersey going all the way this year, I think Pacers will overhaul them in conference play offs and Celtics are ont so hot this year.
You are lucky, you know.
This year I am really pissed off a bit, because after a long time I cant watch NBA live on TV- I have 50+ programmes, some of them had NBA on programe previous years (DSF, Croatia, even our tv), but this year it seems like noone cares for the best Basket league on the world here in Europe!!
Perhaps, americans raised their prices, now when there are so many europeans playing!?
Hope to see playoffs at least...
