Personally

I think this is a big con.

They once claimed a 76% strike rate on draws. Maybe they were just taking the piss here, I don't know.

From those who have tried it, I have not yet heard of any remarkable profit taking.

Its not a big con

although I will say don't listen to the claims they make anywhere as the figures they go on about may have been for a certain period or something. The software itself in my opinion is good, the drawbacks are it is updated by downloading a zip file of statistics each wekk updated by the programmers, this is good because it saves any manual input but can be bad if they don't get it updated in time for the next games, I have only seen this once when Italy had a midweek round it seemed to upset the balance. The stats you can get inside the program on teams and individual players are very good and as a database on its own it is worth to pay money for. I did a three week trial on its predictions where a team had 40% chance or more to win and it finished in profit over England, France, germany, Spain and Italy, and it is not easy to make a profit in France for anyone. I think the draws it forecasts are pretty good and you may remember I put up the 6 draws it predicted last weekend and four of them came home. But the website itself needs to work on promoting the good points about the software as a program itself instead of making radical claims about its performance, because at the end of the day they don't need to make these claims to sell it, I would buy it anyway, even without the predictions. It updates live with betbrain odds at a touch of a button too which is good and it highlights potential overbrokes and stuff. The author is willing to answer any questions if you mail the site and he is a member at this forum and came in once before and answered some questions. I like it and as part of the new features I am introducing I will be doing a weekly round up of its picks for the forum, but won't show them all or ths stats, too much work, if you want that you need to buy it.

Re: Football Symphony

After listening all kind of marvels about Football Symphony, I finally bought it...what can I say ? The interface is just shocking !!! If you release what claims to be a product for serious public the first thing you would think is interface, it has to be simple and efficient (I can say that for sure as I'm a programmer myself), not some kind Nintendo style stuff. It appears to be that after all the sudden publicity the authors of the program had, they don't bother to improve.
Don't think that I'm saying the program is useless, the predictions are interesting to say the least (for instance it gave 80%-10%-10% for Betis v Villareal this Sunday) and a lot of people can confirm that, but if you have to try like 10 times to click on a button without success you better surf around betting forums and you'll find Football Symphony predictions in many of them totally free.
An example for a good interface is Odds Wizard - plain, simple and efficient. Why making all these graphic tricks ? Is this program for kids ?

I've been wondering why Football Symphony has no trial versions, now I understand why...

Never had

January 30 2003, 3:04 PM

a problem with the interface, I like it very much, its personal tatse, but I never had to click on anything 9 tims to get it to work, never had a problem with it. There are changes being made for version 5, like you don't need to have it ful screen and can get all predicitions at once instead of one at a time. the interface to me seems simple, you can find the stuff easy with clear instructions?
