100 Points Bournemouth to beat Swansea @ 1.80 Victor Chandler
Team News
Bournemouth have injury doubts over Stephen Purches, Karl Broadhurst and Narada. Purches injured his back in the weekend win over Wrexham while Broadhurst is struggling with an ankle knock. Narad missed the win against Wrexham with a knee problem and once again is unlikely to figure. Because of International duty with Northern Ireland, they will be without Warren Feeney but on a plus side, Marcus Browning will return after a 2 match ban.
Swansea could welcome back striker Kevin Nugent after a slight hamstring problem. Defender Alan Tate will also return from suspension although midfielder Damien Lacey will miss out, he is still plagued by foot problems
Home / Away Form
This will be Bournemouth’s 5th home game in their last 6 league matches, and in the 4 previous they have won 2 and drawn 2. Overall they have a solid home record winning 8 of their 15 matches at Dean Court. Swansea boast the worst away record in the Division losing 10 of their 15 matches on the road. They are though unbeaten in their last two away games.
Recent Form
Bournemouth have only won 2 of their last 8 starts, but with 4 draws as well are a tough team to beat. Swansea have been playing better than their position implies, and are unbeaten in 4 league games, winning 3 of those against Lincoln, Darlington and Macclesfield.
Head To Head
Swansea won the clash earlier this season 2-0, but Bournemouth won both league meeeting last year by an aggregate score of 5-0.
Value Test
Victor Chandler offer 1.80 for Bournemouth which is an excellent when you compare to Bet365 who offer just 1.57. The average price for them is 1.65 across all bookmakers.
Summary
Described at the weekend by Wrexham manager Denis Smith as one of the best sides in the Division, Bournemouth simply look overpriced to take out a Swansea team who admittedly have put a few decent results together of late. Those results though have been against lowly opposition and this represents a much tougher match all round for them. Bournemouth do have a couple of players missing, the loss of Feeney to Northern Ireland is a blow but it is fully expected to see them strengthen their impressive home record here. When playing teams that reside in the top half of the table, Swansea have lost 11 from 16 of such matches.
