Football "BANKER"

Leicester City at 1.55
Andrew Impey is fit to return to the Leicester City squad for the match against Wimbledon at the Walkers Stadium.
The winger has not featured since suffering a groin strain in mid-January, but has been back in full training for most of the week.

Brian Deane is the only player still out for the Foxes, a fractured cheekbone keeping the combative striker on the sidelines.

Trond Andersen is doubtful for Wimbledon after suffering from blisters on international duty with Norway.

Midfielder Damien Francis will serve his suspension after the Dons' match against Gillingham was postponed.

Darren Holloway came through a reserve run-out following his return from a knee operation, but will not be considered.

But 20-year-old midfielder Lionel Morgan could return to the squad for the first time in six weeks after a cartilage operation.

Jobi McAnuff will miss out with a groin injury, while goalkeeper Paul Heald is still recovering from a cartilage operation.

I wont disagree that Leicester are favourites to win, but in my opinion this is a terrible bet. The odds are absolutely shocking, If I was to be tempted onto the home win here i'd need at the very least 1.9. Leicester have failed to win a third of their home games while Wimbledon have lose less than half of their away games, 1.55 is a big risk for the small return you get. Your definition of the work Banker is obviously very different to mine!
I cant help but see value in 6.5 on the away side.

Re: Football "BANKER"

February 22 2003, 3:15 AM

I'll give you 2 more:

Wasquehal - Toulouse <2.5   Wasquehal has not scored for 6 games and has conceeded 2 in the last 4 games, the game is played in the North of France and the pitch is terrible.

Chateauroux - Grenoble 1 and <2.5  Grenoble conceeds 0.33 per game(away) and tomorrow will miss one basic defender and the two players that have scored 14 of the 30 team goals this season.

If you start with certainties you end up with doubts.

and a third...

Niort - LeMans x2@1.28  Niort has lost any hope for promotion and their coach and assistant coach are suspended for this game. LeMans need at least one point to stay ahead of Metz.

If you start with certainties you end up with doubts.

In my humble opinion i think mirko is the best tipster in this forum. And wrath macoti are well is also a good tipster. I think anything untoward said to them should be backed with a decent tipping record. Even still arrogance is not welcomed in this forum. Kepp it up guys well played

This suggests to me that infact higman is a 'wanker' and not mrmirko.

Well said i dont like mutiny within the ranks but this time it is wholly justified. Higman overstepped the mark and has isolated mirko who i hold in great admiration as a good tipper. However with an apology from higman i think it will be sorted out in a mature manner.

Re: Football "BANKER"

Also I want to say that higman should have more respect for the many people on this forum and on other sites that work so much to make their OWN tips since I am watching his thread and not one of his bets is his. Without these people higman you would be bookie-food.

If you start with certainties you end up with doubts.

Apologies to mirko

February 23 2003, 9:43 AM

Aplogies Mirko and others on the forum. I was totally out of order, not trying to make excuses but I have been on holiday and out on a all day drinking session. In future I won't log in when I am in that state. Thankfully I didn't log in to any of my betting accounts!

Apologies again to Mirko and continue with the good tipping.

If others feel like stupot that my thread is a waste of time let me know and I will stop posting - cheers.

February 23 2003, 3:13 PM

Mate i did not say your thread was a waste of time i said i hadnt seen it which i genuinely havent. my call for the thread to be stopped was for this thread to be stopped as so that your drunken comments couldnt be viewed by anyone else ! After all they were drunken comments and i appreciate as all those who took offence that you showed respect to all members by apologising. I certainly wouldnt want you to stop as i think we should all be able to have our own threads mate as an avenue of pleasure and making money !

Take care
Big respect
Stupot

P.S. Apologies for any offence taken higman as none was clearly intended
P.P.S. Unfortunatley there have been times where ive been worse for wear and logged onto my betting accounts. The worse thing is dude the next morning your still clinging onto the hope that it was a bad dream. Only to log onto your account and find your financial status is not wot it once was !

February 23 2003, 3:19 PM

Sorry if I misinterpruted your comments. I totally agree with you on everybody helping each other to make money. After all this is fun. I can certainly appreciate why you were offended by my drunken comments - a moment of stupidity - probably won't be my last moment of stupidity when I have had a few beers - though I will endeavour to make sure that I don't log onto here to offend good people who are just trying to help.

Thanks for accepting my apology gracefully. I hope mirko can accept it just as well.

Cheers
