which are not in your native currency, always check the charges with your own bank. They can vary quite considerably, some charge a flat fee, but others may charge a percentage of the amount that you are banking. If you are not happy with your banks charges, then move it's as simple as that 
One other problem that I had, is that the money is never classed as cleared in your account, even though you can draw against it. If the payment is rejected by the bank issuer in the country where the payment has been sent, you might find the money automatically being taken back out of your account. This would probably only happen in extreme circumstances though.
