I am starting my third month of trebles, January made a nice profit of 34.45 units (yield of 21.53%), but February thrashed me below par (lost 80 units), so I have to try a little change.
This weekend I will present 5 trebles each day, made of best picks (IMO), but each treble will "carry" 2 units only!
List of games, i picked today is:
*Huddersfield v Northampton, Home, 2.00
This is a game,which is very important in a tight race for survival in div.2. Northampton totally lost their balance, 0-2-6 in last ten, away 3-4-9 (13-31), Huddersfield improved a lot recently, they could win this game. 7/10
*Parma v Modena, Home, 1.50
A quality difference between the teams should bring home team an easy win, they have one of the most tallented attackers in Serie A, Adriano, and even with improved Modena (without loss in last three), Parma is a favourite here (7-1-3 home). 9/10
*Nurnberg c Wolfsburg, Home, 1.90
Everithing goes wrong for Wolfsburg: 7 injured players + Petrov and Sarpei, who were redcarded (injured are Akonor, Madsen, Rau, Franz, Munteanu, Greiner and EFFENBERG)- I dont want another attack from homeside fans, so I quote all.
And to add to their misery, Effenberg had problems with police. They are 1-2-8 away! and won only one game of last 8!
Nurnberg are not big guns themselves, but are better then last season and should win. 8/10
*Brescia v Bologna, Away, 2.55
A little spculation here, I went thru some old results, and saw an interestin g 3-0 win for hosts last year, which saved them from Serie B. Bologna are a good team, perhaps they can get something back? 5/10
*Leverkusen v Werder, Home, 2.20
Good odds on home team, here, they play the worst side of the spring (Werder are 0-1-4 after the winter break) and I cant see the better posibility for their revival. It is the first home game for their new manager (he won his first away last week in Hannover), 7/10 IMO.
*Lille v Monaco, Away, 2.10
Quality on visitors side, here. They are in championship fight, second, only 2 points behind Marseille and Deschamps is doing great this year. Lille lost 6 in a row, Monaco are 5-5-0 in their last 10, 8/10.
*Aarau v Sion, Home, 1.90
It is always risky to predict a game after a long winter break, but the news are, Aarau got stronger, buy some players knowing, how Sion were always bad travellers (3-2-6 this season), a nice home banker is expected. 6/10
*Olimpija v Bosna (+15), basket, Goodyear Lge, Home, 1.70
Statistics shows everything, here:
Olimpija 3rd, 8-0-1 home, Bosna 0-0-9 away, their losses were by 32,49,26,40,14,9,19,29 and 12 points margin. Olimpija wont take this game 100% by they should still win with over 20 points difference... 8/10
*Kolding v Fotex, QTR finals, handball Champs LGE, Away, 1.90
Fotex are the best team in CL this year, they had 6 straight wins in Phase 1 and won their gorup easely. They have several Croatian players, that were World Champs last month and Hungarian Internationals, on the other side, Kolding are a tipical, attacking side from Danemark, who lack quality (best Danemark players play abroad), they were second in their group, behind Italian (!) champions. I expect 5 goals margin in favour of visitors, here... 8/10
*Skiing, a special at odds 2.00, Other skier to enter 1-3 (listed are Kostelic, Miller, Palander, Raich, Schonfelder, Pranger, Rocca, Buraas, Schilhegger, Aamodt, vidal), so one of the others (Karlsen, Sasaki, Zurbriggen, Albrecht, Bourgeat, Larsson, Stiansen, Marinac, Schloppy, Knight, Brolenius, all SLovenians...) should get placed (1-3). 6/10
