but I too can't see many goals, Liverpool will play their counter attacking style and their defense looks well suited to coping with the aeriel threat from Celtic.
I think a 0-0 is possibly a worse scoreline for Liverpool than for Celtic!
As Liverpool would have to make the running more at Anfield and i see Celtic scoring more so away as will get more space!
But for me Henchoz is a big loss!
Celtic need to close down quicker in the 2nd half Liverpool are getting to pass it about as they please ..midfield needs to get going for Celtic ..if they do they will cause Liverpool probs at the back.

Liverpool have been the better team overall in the 1st half BUT i see Celtic starting on fore again in the 2nd half.
I think bad tactics from O' Neil as the 1st 5 mins you were flying at us and then you decided to let Liverpool settle in which has been surprising as liverpool have in the main been in control since eventhou you finished fairly well.
I think Smith started well but has looked a bit shaky since the goal went in and can see lambert coming on and replacing Smith.
A good game and as a Pool fan i have to admit i am very pleasantly surprised and i would take the 1-1.
I think Celtic will be better in the 2nd half and they will need to be as i feel as it stands Liverpool could score a 2nd if O'Neil doesnt sort them out!
You are giving Liverpool to much respect in middle and far to much space which Liverpool love!

I will be happy with a one goal win, but I still think Celtic can lose and still go through, getting this far is good enough for most fans, if Celti have to they will throw everything and thr kitchen sink at pool in anfield!!
at least we didn't lose , similar to last time score draw at Parkhead in first leg. All celtic can do now is throw caution to the wind and try to score first at Anfield, they have done great to get this far so nothing to lose, Liverpool beware, it will be no easy ride next week Celtic have proved dangerous away, like at Blackburn and Stuttgart we can score.
I agree that Liverpool certainly wont have it easy eventhou the ball is firmly in there court now!
I am just glad it was 1-1 and not 0-0 as that would of favoured Celtic more where as Celtic have to attack and get a goal which will suit Liverpool!
Bluekoba what did Diouf do then as i missed last 20 mins as went to play football..
If he spat at the fans he will be caught on Camera wont he and if so will get a ban i expect!

Also i agree Jhim that IF you do go out now you have done excellent to get this far and you were a tad unlucky against Basle early on as you beat them which is more than we did against them eventhou saying that we never lost either with 1-1 3-3 but would of rather had the home win like yourselfs!
Jhim i think i deserve to be locked up BUT supporting Liverpool tends to be a boring affair based on recent times so i was loyal to me pals and played!

He was caught on camera alright. He was trying to keep the ball in play and ended up running into some fans.
They started patting him on the back and someone patted him on his bald napper. Then as he got up he turned round and spat at the crowd. The fans went mad and Bog eyes took him off a few minutes later.
Although i'm a bit upset we didn't win the it .... but to be fair 1-1 probably the correct result on the night. The whole Diouf thing made everyone here really angry though he should get hammered for that ... a total disgrace. There's surely no excuse for spitting into the fans.
Diouff is a disgrace for what he did. Really stupid considering how well he played. He was the outstanding player on the pitch last night, but nobody will remember that now.
1-1 was a fair result, and it's all to play for at Anfield.
no need for that whatsoever...Liverpool were the better of the two i came on at h/t last night and said Celtic needed to sort the midfield out..but Liverpool still controlled it for me Gerrard ran the show in the middle of the park...Celtic are capable of scoring away from home but they are equally capable of losing goals away from home ..i think the away goal for Liverpool might just edge it in there favour....i bet Celtic last night and when they went 1 up i thought they would get another couple ..wasn't to be and it is game on.
