Firstly, I wanted to open separate topics for various Cup competitions during midweek, but then I decide to open only one and I hope that all of you will post your infos and predictions in this one
For me personally, one game is very interesting.
First …Wattens v FC Lustenau 1….
Wattens in currently leader in third league with ambitions to promote in Div 1. They are well organize club who came from Innsbruck and many former Tirol players are currently in Wattens. My sources said that in their game are more fans then in some games in Max league.
In first two rounds:
Fortuna Wien – Wattens 0-1 and Wattens – Austria Lustenau 4-0.
Also I think that Austria Wien will win against Bleiberg easily. Personally I think that they lost at home against Pasching just cause of lack of motivation, cause they are way beyond rest of teams ( I do not what to think that Austria fixed game). I think that they want to won both trophies this season – Championship and Cup.
Also Altach (3) v Salzburg. Hosts already eliminate Pasching and Admira in first two rounds. They are just behind Wattens in third league. So I will not be surprised if Altach pass this round too…….

I will just comment Croatian Cup, just cause of one game….Pomorac v Varteks…..I heard from many sources that last weekend Varteks gave points to Pomorac in league. So I expect payback time….but with which result, draw, away win or home win with many goals like 4-3, 5-4 for Pomorac…in all three scenarios Varteks will go to next round. Varteks mis many players last weekend, maybe some of them will be in squad for Cup match.
Others are very tough, but I suppose that Zagreb can win at home against Kamen I. Zagreb has small chances to go in play-off so I think that they will give everything to win against Kamen Ingrad. Visitors 99% secure place in play-off but they are not in some special form. Hajduk game I will skip, also Osijek game but I favorite home team in this game…

I am not so good with Russian league, and they just started so...
Interesting game is in Slovakian Cup…….Zilina v Slovan…..Two teams who are in first two places currently in league. Slovan is strong at home, but they lost last two away games in league against Petrzalka and Puchov. Zilina both some good players in break and start chasing Slovan. Looking in current form I give advantage to hosts…
A nice pick from you, Wattens. I think they will re-name themselves in a year or two into Innsbruck or Tirol II or something, they are in fact a knid of succesors. So, yes, perhaps they are interested to try themselves in cup this year, they shoul win. The only danger, this game is kind of local...
