QPR?

March 18 2003, 7:13 PM

I have heard that QPR have many injuries today and I know that Cheltenham is in good form. Maybe x2 is good value betting, since the odds on QPR are quite low?

From BBC Sport

March 18 2003, 7:17 PM

QPR v Cheltenham

QPR goalkeeper Nick Culkin has returned to training after a knee problem and is likely to be on the bench against Cheltenham.
Boss Ian Holloway is still waiting for Matthew Rose to shake off an injury.

But Andy Thomson will again be on the bench having recovered from a hamstring problem and Gino Padula is expected to return to the starting line-up.

Cheltenham midfielder David Bird is doubtful for the trip to QPR.

The youngster is likely to be sidelined with a knee injury sustained in the 1-1 draw against Northampton at the weekend.

Richard Forsyth is also unlikely to figure after suffering a setback in his attempts to return to full fitness after sciatica.

Fellow midfielder Anthony Griffin could figure after making progress from a hamstring problem.

Julian Alsop has returned to training following a knee problem but the trip to Loftus Road is likely to come too soon for the former Bristol Rovers striker.

There are no suspensions for Bobby Gould's third-from-bottom side.

So they dont metion loads of injuries at all??
Where is your info from my friend?

Macoti good to see you mate and good luck to you also

Sorry, the injuries were second hand information I haven't got confirmed. You are probably right about QPR!

QPR

March 18 2003, 10:46 PM

Good so see the QPR double come in. Well done mate.

It was nice to see the QPR 4-1 and a pint of Guinness. This reminded me of the glory days, a few years back now.

Cheers, we'll be back to Div 1 next year.

must admit, I do remember yous hammering us at old Trafford on Boxing Day or was it New Years Day about 11 years ago,4-0 i think!

and I also remember travelling down from Manchester and having a pint in Sheperds Bush, when it comes on the tele that the game is frosted off or waterlogged pitch or something and having to wander over to watch Bestie play at Craven Cottage.

Z, hope you don't mind the intrusion.

GL.
