Greek cup

The national cups are regarded as being of little importance in many countries. What is the cup's status like in Greece?

The first leg of the semifinal between AEK and PAOK is being played on Wednesday, and I am considering a bet on AEK (1.75, Gamebookers). From the results so far, AEK seem to have waltzed through the earlier rounds. PAOK have struggled more, but have met better teams.

So any info about how serious the teams take this competition will be highly appreciated. Any team news or views on the match is welcome, too.

And if anyone can point me to a decent site containing news & info (not the tables) on Greek soccer, then I'll be eternally grateful.

Cup is important for both teams as they do not have anything else to go for.(Aek will try to "steal" second place in the league). Aek is in superb form, playing the best football in Greece right now. I'll take 1.75 with medium stake
