If Southampton and Roma played with champions in the cup-final then they are already qualified for Uefa Cup next season, but if Arsenal and Milan are'nt champions ...are they already qualified, because Arsenal and Milan will play in Champions League?
I think its important question anfd we have to know for sure (100%) THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR REPLYES!

I am pretty sure

that each team has to accept its position and if Arsnale is taking the position in the CL they cannot also take the place in the FA Cup final, so therefore Southampton should get a UEFA place, if you know what I mean.

I can confirm that, both are already qualified (of course if Milan and ARsenal/ManUtd qualify to Champions league).
And as far as I know all cup winners (finalists) enter UEFA CUP competition in the first round proper, they dont need to go to qualifiing rounds.
