A must win game for Leverkusen who can welcome back Brasilian Defender Lucio. Leverkusen have had a kind of revival towards the end of this season and it really has to continue or this great team will be relegated. They play Schalke who have been the epitomy of inconsistency in the last month or two. Leverkusen have managed not to lose in their last three home games, scoring 8 goals. A win is essential with the team below them Nurnberg having a good chance of winning at home, if they do and Bayer lose or draw they will go second bottom of the league.
Although De Huelva themselves are fighting for survival, I do't think they will make it, and Santander who are also just off the drop zone can do themselves a big favour by winning against them and helping secure their Primera future. Racing have had a small hiccup lately in their revival under a new coach and am sure they will all want to get back on the winning streak again. Santander for me are a much better side to be in the Primera and hopefully they will prove this by winning this game.
What better news for Ross to hear St Mirren could possibly miss up to ten players for the trip north to Dingwall on Saturday. After losing to Allo last week Ross find themselves level with the second bottom team on 26 points. St Mirren have twice let in 4 goals in Dingwall in the last three visits, they are 10 points clear of ross and safe from relegation, they will definately miss Ricky Gilles, Mark Roberts, Ally Mitchell and Hugh Murray. There are a further 6 players injured or doubtful to play. Smith has called on his players to show their fight and determinatio0n to stay in this division. Last summer Ross did a lot to improve their ground and am sure they would like to continue that work and stay in this level.
Morton have a great chance to blow the title race apart and I am sure they can go into this game and not lose, East Fife have not beaten Morton in the last thirteen meetings. The game is important for both teams but I feel Morton must be the most desperate of the two, with Peterhead playing at home and having a good chance of winning Morton can't rely on other teams helping them to promotion, they must carve their own way back up to division two. It won't be easy but I think Morton can come away with at least a point and possibly win the tie.
Union can look to build on an impressive away victory at Duisburg last weekend, they are still only 4 points off the drop zone and face Aachen who have gone off form at this late stage in the season. Union Berlin have had a very bad season by their standards and am sure they will be working to make their position safe so they can build for next season. Aachen have nothing to play for really, the teams fighting for promotion are a class apart from them and they are very unlikely to get anywhere near promotion and will not be relegated. There is much more at stake for Union.

Widzew Lodz - Garbarnia Jaworzno
Many things have changed recently in Widzew. The manager and main sponsor Andrzej Grajewski had resigned from the club and this decision made some mess in the club.Coach Peter Nemec also didn't want to stay in Lodz and as a result Widzew were deprived of both, manager and coach! In this situation only one man could give a hand to Widzew - Franciszek Smuda. This coach won the title with Widzew some years ago and is setimentically connected with the club. When he was asked to take Widzew and help him to avoid relegation he resigned from his club (Piotrkovia) and decided to work in Widzew for free! Supporters in Lodz are delighted to have him on the bench and believe that Widzew will stay up in Polish Premeir League.Smuda's team lost 1-2 to Wisla in Polish Cup on Thursday but the coach kept his best players on the bench to have them all fit for this crucial game with Jaworzno.Visitors are teh newcomer with the smallest potential in the team and they are very poor on away. For Widzew it is the most important game in this season and at home ground they won't disappoint! HOME WIN

Odra Wodzislaw - Legia Warsaw
Legia were before season, next to Wisla Cracow, the biggest favourite to win the championship. However, some players are disappointing ang Legia are at 5th place 6 points behind Wisla. The crucial game was two weeks ago and Legia team lost in Cracow 1-2 despite leading there 1-0.However,after that upset players from Warsaw demolished KSZO at home stadium 6-0 and showed that they still believe in winning the championship. It is a difficult task but still possible.Odra Wodzislaw were really in form after the witner break but lost last week 0-3 to Groclin and I think that they might be quite tired. What's more they will be without their 4 first-squad players against Legia! And now something spicy from DJ...Legia won last 5 trips to Wodzislaw ina very immpressive style (5-1,2-0,2-1,3-1,3-0)! Under these circumstances odds from Centrebet (2.60) are really a big bargain! I also bet on 2/2 at Expekt and I believe that Legia will show a piece of good football. AWAY WIN
I am just sitting watching live the Dortmund V Bayern game and the soft penalty that was given, ok it was handball but I don't think it was deliberate so player should not have got a yellow card. What confuses me is why Amaruso was allowed to throw down his shirt and run away over to the corner flag and give it a karate kick without being penalised. The referee associations and Fifa make such a big hoo haa about new rules but you rarely see them enforced?? To me what Amaruso did was more offensive than the hand ball, so why do we need rules?
Inter Milan went down to 9 men and still came back to win against Brescia in a game with 5 yellows, a yellow/red and two straight red cards, their counterparts AC Milan who beat them last week lost 1-0 at home to Empoli of all teams, how bizarre!
I'm watching the Dortmund-Bayern game as well, and following the rest of todays games on Livescore.
Don't think it was a penalty as Kovac was pushed by the Dortmund player and couldn't help getting his hand to the ball.
Thought it was ok that Amoruso took off his shirt (happens all the time) but when he kicked the corner flag I got a bit surprised that he didn't get booked. Imagine that the corner flag broke and pieces ended up in the stands!!!
About the Inter game.........isn't that just typical Italian??!!
When I saw it was 0-0 nering the end, with 10 players against 9, I thought to myself that a goal for Inter in the last minutes wouldn't surprise me a bit..........what happens.......They score in the 90th minute (Livescore only goes to 90, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was in the 6th minute of added time )
First congratulations to DJ SOSNA. All picks passed. Excelent job.
Jhim, as I can see your scotish picks passed.
I like your sense of picking matches from different leagues. It looks like you follow carefuly whats going on in all european major leagues.
Considering Santander-Recreativo match.
Both teams are not at Spanish Primera level.
The fact is that Racing will start with a stronger squad then they started in Mallorca week ago, when they took a point (3:3). Their main players (Javi Guerero, Regueiro, Benayoun) should start the match. Also israelian attacker Bodipo show good form recently. In Mallorca he scored twice (once from penalty).
The reason I wouldnt pick this match is simple. Recreativo is high ranked on current form table. But I think you had enough reasons to pick this one.
Thanx Bojan,
I must say that April at my http://bet1x2.net/
is a paradise of jackpots
I manage to hit 12/14 this month so we may say that DJ is on the fire!
I hope Racing win too, Union Berlin have come back from 2-0 down to 3-2 win so we have 100 points or more profit now, hope the others come in to get my balance up a bit, fingers crossed
Leverkusen have been unlucky today, been denied a penalty, Bohme's equaliser was an incredible shot no keeper could have stopped, and now aftert a long period of applied pressure, Schalke score again on the counter
poor Leverkusen are doomed, Bochum are winning and Bayer have collapsed now and have come up against some great Schalke goals today, looks like Bundesliga 2 is beckoning them, a great shame
Congratulations!
You made a good profit.
If you seen the match Racing-Recreativo you would never put a cent on Santander.
You are right. It was a own goal. Defender tried to kick off the ball out of the box and he hit his player and ball deflected into a goal.
Both teams ended with 10 players.
