I normally do not venture into 3yo handicaps before June, as gauging the form can sometimes be an impossible task with numerous lightly raced horses to consider.
However Jarjoor bucks the trend here, having won an all aged handicap at Nottingham last time when drawn poorly in stall 18. 3yo are very diadvantaged at this time of year against their elders so that win was all the more meritous in the circumstances. The front two had pulled 7 lengths clear of the third in a decent time so even an 8lb rise does not look too harsh.
He reverts back here to racing against his own age group which is plus along with a excellent high draw in stall 10. There are few better placers of a progressive horse than Michael Jarvis and this looks an ideal opportunity for him to extend this colt's winning run. A 5 point stake is the recommendation.
that i was told about to look out for as it is regarded as perhaps the best horse the trainer has in his yard..it is trained by a small known Scottish trainer and the horses name is Diamond Dynasty it runs at Perth in the 2-20 ..i will put a little on it e/w as it will be a big price ..obviously it is taking on decent horses today but follow this one as it will win perhaps not today but it is a horse to put in your notebook.
getting into the Racing Post site some can get in some can't..i am one of them that can't at the moment ..just to say go to www.sportinglife.com if you can't get in..heard a rumour Racing Post are going to start asking for subscriptions to there site like they did when the site 1st started up.
and I think that ultimately that is the way that they will go so that you will have to pay to use the site. They will need to improve their offerings considerably though to compete with the other services available in my opinion.

fairly constant in the betting at around 5'4 but it is inetresting to note that Jazz Messenger from the Gerard Butler stable has backed him from 3'1 into 9'4, a significant move from a stable that knows how the place their horses to best effect.
Formwise he has a lot to find with Jarjoor but he is open to any amount of improvement having only won a Southwell maiden last time.
by Self Evident trained by Amanda Perrett. Jarjoor did nothing wrong but just found one too good. Self Evident quickened up nicely and was backed as well against the front two.
My guess is that all 3 will win more races as the season progresses.
I'll try and update the horse section tonight, there are a some notebook horses to write up and a selections (losing albeit) to add to April's diary.
works now ..i am not the brightest bulb in the pack as you know..lol...yep feel they need to do something dramatic if they want folks to subscribe ..i think they will find they will lose out in the long run..i suppose with it being the only Racing daily they will feel they can do as they please..i think they will find they are wrong ..others as you say do just as good a job and will remain free..if i was to pay for form i think it would be with other form publications rather than the RP..hard lines with your pick today i thought it had taken the others on and had them beaten until the last half furlong..nevermind you will resume normal service shortly.
from powerful stables will turn out to be fairly decent in their own right.
I think you mean the Raceform Data Files and not Interactive don't you ?
Since the start of the flat season I have started to use Superform just for form and comments and must say I'm impressed (http://www.superform.co.uk) it works out about £2.50 a week over the course of a year and the Weekender nearly costs that these days.
used them for a while when you got a lot of stuff for free the annuals are good just bought them..it was the interactive page i went through ..don't know what i got but will certainly take a look.

Calling P Hunter: Diamond Dynasty
April 25 2003, 5:12 AM
Just reading back through this thread and your e/w rec on this nag. If this horse (never been less than 50L behind winner in eight races, never less than 50/1 at SP) is the stable's best horse, then what does it say about his others? Any comments on the Perth race?
i will have a little e/w on it and yes it has been beaten quite a distance in its races..as i also said it would best to follow it in the coming races..apart from the fact it is a little known Scottish trainer with not many horses in his stable J Billinge he has a few runers at Perth today of which most have been placed or won including one which won last time out..it was passed onto me that he thought highly of the horse ..if you think it is a donkey don't back it pretty simple really..this is what they say about it on their website this morning....As you can see Diamond Dynasty was our problem horse.
This horse has more natural talent than any other horse in the yard, but he has not yet clicked to the game at all. At home he works brilliantly, but it does not appear to materialise on the race course.
We felt that he just needed time to grow up, so we have given him a winter of having fun and encouraging him to become competitive and an enormous amount of schooling over hurdles and fences.
Things didn't quite go the way we wanted for DD at Ayr on 7 April 2003, another of our horses Shazal fell in front of him at the first hurdle, he had to jink to the side and immediately flew for the daylight! The loose horse then took him on at the front, so he ran his race far too early. We still have a lot to do to try to settle him in his races - we promise you he does it all very easily at home!
7th April at Kelso - what a relief this was the first time he has settle in a race, Graham Lee was riding and did a really good job. It might take another 6 runs before we see a really good run, but we are now on the right road! Perth 24 April, yet again he improved, but we need to stick to left handed courses as he hung badly.
So i will wait to see what it does on a left handed course next time out..i suspect we will see it run at Ayr ,Kelso or perhaps Hexham as they run a few horses at Hexham..as i say was only trying to pass on some info about smaller stables runners rather than put up info on bigger stables that basically everyone knows about .
