Hi,
I am curious about the prices for this game and cannot understand how bookmakers calculated them. Up to 1.8 is available for the Hibs to beat Motherwell at home.
I can only see the ratings for the previous round in the rating section yet, but I assume there will be a huge gap as Hibs already had 79 points, beating Aberdeen (129) afterwards, while Motherwell was at 15, drawing at home Dundee Utd. with ridiculous 4 rating points so presumably further dropping.
My ratings from
http://www.soccerratings.info show a very similar case: Hibs at 1987 (this is close to the average of 2000) are miles ahead of Motherwell @ 1723, which is a very low number that is only under-reached by teams like Sunderland ...
But also a a quick glimpse at the table says that Motherwell are crap, esp. away.
I really cannot understand this and think that 1.8, even 1.75, is a huge price. At an exchange, I wouldnt dare to set more than 1.5.
BTW, it is interesting that in this round Celtic and the Rangers are both facing "the best of the rest" when they welcome Hearts and Killie. Prices like 1.15 are never value in these games, maybe one of them ends with a surprise ...
Love and money, Alp
