I was wondering for those that bet quite a lot on soccer what do you do in the summer, will you take a break or bet on something else, the soccer available is
Finland Norway Sweden Russia USA Brasil Others?
Or Sports
Tennis Motor Sport Athletics Horse Racing Baseball
For those that are interested we usually have at least one person calling picks on each of the scandinavian leagues Finland, Norway, Sweden... I have nevere much been a fan of sweden bu there shoudl be a few people involved in Norway discussion and there was a few discussing Sweden last year, and I willl be following Hannu and others thoughts on Finland as some good money can be made there.
Maybe some of you will break for summer completely?
Another question, how many people from Finland, Sweden and Norway do we have following the forum, woudl any of you be interested in gathering news for disussion on games through the summer as its very hard ot find language translators for these languages?
Whatever people are doing this summer I hope they have fun and good luck

Hello, Jhim!
Back from very enjoyable weekend and short Alpine break before..
Well, as usually, my summer is going to start with Italy B and Spain Segunda, then followed by Norway and Finnland, but without Sweden, very unpredictable!!
I like Ukraine, Belarus leagues.
But the most interesting will be Qualies for Champions league, UEFA cup and Intertoto cup, a lot of nice, small oportunities there.
And so, the end of July will come and it will be a start of new championships around Europe and we will enter a new, pleseant season!!
I wish you all good luck and hope for as many as possible writing their infos, thoughts, predictions, I also hope our scandinavian friends will help during the summer, also Ucraine and others!
I will follow European cups closely and help with ex-Yu clubs if necessary!
Jhim: add Brazil to your list of summer football betting. With new structure of league they play straight through until December. That will be at top of my list. My #2 betting option gets rolling in August, with preseason NFL...which tends to be very good for betting.
I haven't followed any SA football so lost track of when all the leagues start and finish.
If anyone has anytime maybe they could find some dates of when eastern and norther european leagues start and also south american ones we can bet on at some bookies.

As long as I remember, last year I was betting a lot on Norway 2. and 1., some tennis, not much baseball, so probably this year too Maybe more baseball, but I have to study this game more...
Also I'm somewhat familiar with Argentinian league, but dislike Brasil, MLS, Sweden, Finland, NFL.
But we'll see...
I like betting Finland (Finland 2 was goldmine for me year ego btw), Norway, Sweden...
USA and Eircom also from my favourites.
Like all these ligues.
Its enough betting material imo and personaly enjoy betting.
Have great respect for Finish tipsters and Im sorry they are not posting here so often, except Hannu, of corse, and couple of others.
Will add Brasil and maybe some of South Americans...thats all.
And will stay with footy only...
GL
Finland and Norway (esp. 2) as well as Eircom League.
Some value is in early rounds of any Euro cups as there are some teams bookies don't even know where they are from and their standard is just higher than bookies might imagine.
then it Norway 1 -- I mean not the top flight but just under. The thing is my local books price them up as Norway 1st, Norway 2nd and none of my web books offers leagues like this.
Allsvenskan and Superettan:
I was planing to go for the outsiders, especially for those which are playing against teams with odds around @ 1,70 and took in the 1st round all those teams and failed with all picks. hehe
I`m really surprised to see actually the favourites more or less winning their matches easily.
That means, especially Allsvenskan is currently in fact in contrary to the last season very predictable.
Tippeligaen and 1.Div.:
The favourites are currently very reliable.Look at sunday results and you'll see all favourites with odds around @ 1,70 winning their matches.
But the big surprise is the 1.Div.
Today a @ 7,00(Alta) and @ 5,00(Start) came in.
Last round you would have made a nice profit,if you would have gone just for the highest odds offered for every match. That's a big difffernce to the last season, where the favourites where usually easily winning their matches.
Intertoto:
Very interesting for betting, because bookies have problems to make the right rating. To many factors are unknown, especially the motivation. Some teams have ambitions in this competition, others are using them only for the preparation for the new season.
Usualy i´m betting scandinavian football during the summer, especialy Norway(prem.+1st) and Finland. Also the Eurocup 2004 qüalifiers (early stages!)are very interesting and betting on them, last 3 seasons, was very succesful.
GL everyone

The most improtant time of the future season is now.I colect infos about fixed matches (for the clubs which need survival)and I expect paying debts in the next season,so till the "autumn harvest" I will take break.
