Huracan - Union 2 @ 2.15 confidence 7/10

Huracan is almost relegated for sure and has 4 defeats in a row. In a game against Union many young players will be tested because home coach Jorge Celico wants to prepare team for next season in a National B. Union desperately needs points to avoid relegation. Currently they are just above Olimpo, who occupies relegation spot. You can see relegation table at futbolargentino.com.ar and click on `descenso`. For Union Nereo Fernandez is injured and Leonardo Torres is Suspended. IMO motivated Union should win against average 20-year old Huracan.

It makes sense...

But why then the books have Union at 2.00?Isn't it too good odds for such a good case?

Union have improved their form significantly.I agree with you and have betted on it.But still I wonder for odds of 2.00.

Jorge Célico, technical director of the "Globe"-Huracan, will send to the rotation this time to an extremely youthful formation in which except the mediocampista Santiago Hirsig (25), no player exceeds the 22 years and will include the debut of the arquero Mariano Andújar.

In Union there will be two forced variants, by the injury of the arquero Nereo Fernandez and the suspension of the mediocampista Leonardo Towers (they will replace Jorge Manduca and Adrián González). In addition, the trainer Juan Jose Lopez had the return Fernando Ortiz, recovered of a partial breakage of ligament and a hepática affection, instead of Marcelo Mosset.

TIRED BOCA FACE CHACARITA TEST

By Sergio Ferraro, PA International, Buenos Aires

Boca Juniors return to Clausura action on Saturday when they visit Chacarita, just three days after beating Chile's Cobreloa in the Copa Libertadores.

Boca currently share top spot in the Clausura table alongside Velez Sarsfield, but coach Carlos Bianchi is concerned their midweek exertions may pose a problem.

"It's really hard to play this way, with less than 72 hours between one match and another. The Argentine Football Association should review this," Bianchi said.

At least Boca got a rest last weekend as all games were postponed due to the second round of voting in the Argentinian presidential elections.

Velez, who didn't play during the week, host Lanus with coach Carlos Ischia's only selection poser whether to risk Leandro Gracian or start with replacement Patricio Perez.

One point behind Boca and Velez are River Plate, the other Argentinian representative in the Copa Libertadores. They host Banfield, who defeated them 5-0 in last season's Clausura, ending their chances of claiming the title.

"That was a very weird match, I don't think anything like that will happen again. I don't feel this as a revenge match, I only want to win and keep fighting," said River coach Manuel Pellegrini.

Pellegrini is obviously confident of success as he is set to rest some of his key players, including Eduardo Coudet, Andres D'Alessandro and Fernando Cavenaghi.

All three are likely to start on the bench in preparation for next week's Copa clash against Colombian side America.

The 13th round of the Clausura begins on Friday with two matches.

Lowly Huracan host fellow relegation-strugglers Union and Independiente visit Estudiantes, another team in trouble at the wrong end of the table.

On Saturday, Jose Omar Pastoriza will make his debut as Talleres coach as his new charges host Rosario Central, Racing Club, whose coach Osvaldo Ardiles resigned this week to be replaced by Emilio Comisso, play Olimpio.

Also, Colon host San Lorenzo, Arsenal face Nueva Chicago and Newell's play Gimnasia.

Well Done Anccik
