I am sorry that I am posting this on old forum, but my email provider is out because of technical difficulties (for three days now!?!), so I cant get to my password for new forum.
And since I wont be able to get online for a day or two I am posting these here and hope that someon reads it.
JHIM, please if it is possible, paste this onto new forum!!!

So, data first!

Starting bank: 100 units
Current bank: 45.05 units
------
Profit: -54.95 units

Staked: 559 units
Won: 504.05 units
------
Yield: -9.9%

97 games W and 55 games L since Weekend trebles started!

This time I found the majority of interesting games on Thursday, so I am making a selection from Tuesday till Sunday (you can do it at our bookies!!)

Top 5 games:
------
*Scotland v NewZealand, Home, 1.35 (tuesday)
This is a preparation game for Scots, they play Germany next month and need a boost, Kivies are the right partner for that. If you have opportunity, try with handicap (-1)! 9/10
*Kaernten v GAK Graz, Away, 1.50 (thursday)
Rotten odds here, but Kaernten coach stated he will rest some players for cup finals, they have on Sunday, so GAK, who need to win to keep CL position, will do so! 8/10
*Groningen v PSV, Draw, 2.20 (thursday)
A result that suits both, they need exactly that 1 point to make their plans (title-survival). Dont tell me, Dutch league does not know playing for result- last year we had DeGraafschap v PSV 2-2, home team neededd a point and got it.
0-0 this time? 7/10
*Roosendaal v NAC Breda, Away, 1.70 (thursday)
NAC is in fight for UEFA cup, if they win, they will enter the competition after long, long years.
Roosendaal plays awfully, they are safely in mid-bottom of the table, lost 0-6 against Heerenveen last round. 7/10
*Academica Coimbra v Braga, Home, 1.40
Home team needs to win and they will survival, if other results go their way, Braga already safe. 7/10
------
Bottom 5 games:
------
*Ried v Admira, Home, 1.50 (Thursday)
Another battle for survival, Ried has an awful spring, they were in Europe places almost after the winter but lost a lot of games lately, now with goos old coach Roitiger they try to win against Admira, who made a decisive win against Sturm last weekend and will play with no incentive.
There is a small danger, thou, if Bregenz receive a lot at the begining of their game against Austria, Ried and Admira might settle for a draw. Still, 7/10
*Feijenoord v Roda, Draw, 4.00 (thursday)
Guests will fight like lions to protect their UEFA cup place against Feijenoord, who have nothing to play for. Furthermore, they have cup finals on Sunday, so it could be a game they skip. 6/10
*BadBleiburg v U7Brunn, Home, 1.45 (friday)
Again a fight for survival, home team need to win, guests did it last weekend, hope BB fight, cause I heard they have problems with license.
Still, I ll take it as 7/10 home win.
*Inter v Zilina, Away, 1.70 (Saturday)
Away team are leaders on points with Slovan and Slovan are fierce rivals of Inter (historically).
So, I dont think, Inter will do everything to help Slovan win the title. Zilina may take addvantage of this and win easily! 7/10
*Vitesse v Williem II, Home, 1.35 (Thursday)
Crappy odds, I know, but Vitesse simply needs to win and they play good lately. Williem II will be unmotivated and tired after their heroic draw against Feijenoord. 7/10

Now to trebles (1 unit each):

Scotland-GAK-Ried @3.04
Scotland-GroningenX-FeijenoordX @11.88
Scotland-NAC-BadBleiburg @3.33
Scotland-Academica-Zilina @3.21
GAK-GroningenX-Vitesse @4.45
GAK-NAC-Vitesse @3.44
GAK-Academica-FeijenoordX @8.40
GroningenX-NAC-Zilina @6.36
GroningenX-Academica-BadBleiberg @4.47
NAC-Academica-Ried @3.57
and of course COMBO @211.71!!
------
11 units staked!

Good luck, all!!

You can forget Groningen

May 27 2003, 3:13 PM

Psv will defenitely not settle for a draw, i am not saying that it wont be a draw ,but if it will then by normall play.About your comment on last years result , this wasnt exactly like that Psv needed to win to keep a slim chance to over take ajax, and they were 2 -0 down and came back to 2-2.I say Psv will win this match easely as they are a class above Groningen and will want to end season on a high note .Also interesting to see what Psv striker Mateja Kezman will do because he still has a chance to be European leugeas topgoalscorer so he will be motivated.

GAK?!

May 27 2003, 4:40 PM

where did you found info thta Karnten coach announced that he will rest some players in legaue game against GAK?

I just read on www.sport1.at that they will give 100% to finish season with win in front of home fans and to make big moral boost before Cup final.

Do not forget thta current coach of Karnten was previous coach of GAK, and that he dismissed from GAK with few more players. So....

Hi Macot, just to say I've been keeping a close eye on your threads and also that you are quite lucky to have got some good odds on Italian footy at the end of the season as most European bookies tend to price those matches up on Thursday or later and the odds are much lower than expected. This week, though, I can't believe you let Scotland ruin four of your trebles at such poor odds -- a bit of aftereventing, I know, but I didn't check in before the game. I would also skip Groningen and GAK as stated above and include Atalanta instead (too late for Teplice on Tue). Good luck with the rest.

Hie, friends!
Thanks for your comments.
About PSV, I think both teams will gave their best effort and a draw is still a very possible outcome here.
About GAK, I also know, Schachner was Kaernten trainer and he made some biggest successes with the club, so I think this could be important, too.
About Scotland- what can I say, I was stupid as I was with Dortmund last round...
About Italian odds, our bookies are stupid- as simple as that.
They changed odds about 12 hours after they printed them, drastically, but it was too late for them, many punters expected their mistake and placed their bets- me also, I am doing this every year- that is because they gave odds for Saturday on Tuesday!?! and they had no feeling, what will go on later...

As i said...

you're lucky to be able to get odds like you did for Italy. In fact, with usual odds I would need a clean sweep of your coupon to break even. And the combo would have paid out 4 times less which makes all the difference. Make no mistake, I've made quite a lot on the last round in Italy for several years now, only I usually have to put all eggs in one basket and risk it.

Re: Macoti week-long trebles 27.05.03-01.06.03

May 29 2003, 9:20 PM

As I said, our bookie has the crappier odds in the world- for most of the time.
But I like it for special occasions, they give sunday matches out on Tuesda, 6 days in advance, plus they lack real good staff so they make terrible mistake at the moments like this, they gave those odds out on midnight Monday/Tuesday, I placed my bets on Tuesday 14.30 and at about 21.00 that evening they were slashed down (Piacenza from 5 down to 2,20 and Brescia X from 2.75 down to 1.50 etc.
BUT REMEMBER, for the whole year I had about 10-15%lesser odds then you, guys, so that is also a reason, why I am losing more then I would with your odds.
So I had to use these odds now to make profit.Thats just the way it is- Jhim was horryfied couple of times when he saw awful odds I had to take for games I was sure into...
Here are a lot of SLovenians around and they know I am telling the truth!
