Any Independence activities in Brisbane this year 2011

Friends and wantoks of PNG in Brisbane,any plans or activities this Independence in Brisbane? I've seen and heard big activities are planned in Cairns this year..

Hi sista lewa.thanks for the toksave.Yep I'm on fb.I was in Cairns last week and heard Hon Dame Carol Kidu was there for a meeting and suggested something good for the celebs there.Also the PNG community in Cairns are planning alot of things for the occassion as well there.
I know Brissy will be better too for the independence celebs.Might be in Brissy this time for the celebs.At least a different venue to ejoy the celebs with wantoks there.
