      There's no sound but the howling of the wind. Miserably cold still, although, just maybe, slightly less cold than previously.

      So what's the deal with your pipes breaking? Is it because they're freezing, or because of shoddy workmanship? Your place is kind of new, I thought.

      So I guess right about now, or soon, you'll be moving back downstairs. What a pain in the ass. And why are you surfing slime puddles when the Pacific is a short drive away?
