Without getting into a huge blow out, FF was useful at a state of physics that exists in a past generation of physics/drive model games. At it's present state, it does not offer an advantage in games such as GP3 2K. It simply does not have enough resolution to represent the depth of the experience and actually mutes the feedback to the driver instead of enhancing it.
I'm sure there will be another time when FF is helpful, but not for a while.
-Hobbes- (Who just stepped out of an 8 million dollar simulator - very disappointed.)
