I battled with my concience concerning whether or not to go this route (since in real life, FIA wouldn't allow a change in tire compound after qualifying), but figured if the game allows for this type of strategy, why not take advantage of it? I'm not altering the game in any way, or artificially enhancing my car's performance, so why not? Besides, how many of us qualified on softs and then ran our race on hards?
Did you see a noticeable difference in grip after having scrubbed in your 1st set of hards before the race? Had you ever used that tactic before? I had only thought of it for the 1st time at Canada, being faced with having to use hards for the 1st time. Seemed to make sense, and seemed to make a difference (for me, anyways...)
