unfortunately reading Dan answer to my question I'm disappointed a bit.
You said that a class with 2 or 3 drivers can create more motivations than a class with 20 guys,
and also that AIDS CLASS and NO AIDS shouldn't mix each others; but i can't agree with you, in a class with 20 drivers motivations are very high, you said that drivers that usually are "slow" could loose motivations because tired to be at 18-19th placement in the standing, and this is completely wrong for me.
About cheating.. this is just a ersonal choice whether the class has 2,3 drivers or 20. Unfortunately just when we'll have GP3LAP (maybe it will take another week for the final eralization) we could check the race files.
I can give you an example:
last year I started racing at LFRS, and i placed at 20th and 21st placement (we were 27 drivers + or -), from there on I put more energies on my practising , and at the end of the season i got some placement in top ten, really hard to believe if you saw my first results.
And other drivers did the same.
I also raced in a summer league with few drivers in each class. The league lost many drivers race by race...
Can I ask you just 1 thing ?
Why don't you make a referendum among the drivers ?
It could be the most logical and also democratic solution, don't you agree ?
Maybe you can create 2 classes: NO AIDS class, and another in which can bu used any aid you want;
or better would be: create 2 classes, one for analogic controllers (wheels + joysticks) and another class for the digitals (keyboards).
If the majority like the 6 classes like now they are then OK, no more words about.
I'm racing in Lusa Team, and we are more than 20 drivers, we tried to subscribed more drivers to TopGear GP3 League, but almost everyone refused answering: too classes for so few drivers...
