      Thanks for posting the words to the song as requested.

      I did not find it in “SONGS OF FAITH AND PRAISE,” (Howard Publishing Co, Inc., West Monroe, LA), although this “hymnbook” includes several contemporary musical pieces from Charismatic sources such as “Integrity’s Hosanna! Music / Integrity’s Praise Music” … “Maranatha! Music” … “Hallal Music” … etc.

      I did find it in Howard Publishing’s other set of all-contemporary songbook:
        VOLUMES 7-12
        A Collection of Contemporary Songs for Praise & Worship
      On the back of the book, it says:
        “Praise and worship music that impacts your life—that is the comment shared time and time again by people whose lives have been touched by the Hallal Singer’s Worship Series. For years, Ken Young and the gifted Hallal Singers [wonder if this group is Keith Lancaster’s Acappella Singers’ business competition, d.c.] have sung and recorded some of today’s most powerful contemporary Christian music. This book includes the songs from … Hallal’s audio recordings. In this format you can have these stirring songs [emph., d.c.] at your fingertips and can learn them as you listen to the recorded series….”
      Now, I recall that “There’s a Stirring” is one of those “stirring” songs that Madison’s “Worship Leader” and his “Praise Team” sing, and I have “listened to” them. Please note that anytime there are microphones used in musical concerts in public places or in a church building, there is noise (well, let’s just say … “sound”) domination. Oh, yes, the emotion-driven lead/soprano part dominates especially when she or they are singing the repeated question in “Is He calling me? Is He calling me?” [“me” is a high note and prolonged].

      BTW, contemporary “Christian” music is big business—and that is common knowledge. No proof is necessary, but for track listing/audio clips or other titles by Annie Herring, artist/writer of “There’s a Stirring,” here are the following links:
      Yes, the day of judgment is coming. Yes, “we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ” (2 Cor. 5:10). But I really question “lay[ing] my crown at His wounded feet.” The crown of “rejoicing” (I Thess. 2:19), of righteousness, of life … is a promise to be received by the faithful.
      • “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began…” (Titus 1:2, KJV)

      • “That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” [Titus 3:7, KJV]

      • “And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.” [I John 2:25, KJV]

      • “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: [8] Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” [II Tim. 4:7-8, KJV]

      • “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.” [James 1:12, KJV]

      • “And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.” [I Peter 5:4, KJV]

      • “…Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. ” [Rev. 2:10, KJV]

    ...........................THE BOOK

    What Happened at the Madison Church of Christ?

    There are thousands of churches being taken over across America.

    This book is only about one of those churches. It's about the Madison Church Of Christ. By studying the methods used here along with the resource references you might be able to inoculate your church. At the very least you will recognize the signs early on.

    Many of the current members of the Madison Church of Christ still don't know what happened.
    Some never will know! This book is for them as well.

    Madison Church of Christ was a 60 year old church. At one time it was one of the largest churches in the US, and the largest Church of Christ.

    It thrived for many years on the vision of it's elders and those of it's ministers. Those visions undoubtably came from the the inspired word of Jesus Christ.

    At sometime in the last 10 years there was a deliberate plan by a majority of the elders to take the Madison Church of Christ into a more worldly realm.

    They used secrecy, covert planning, and outside sources to scheme and to change the format and direction of the Madison Church of Christ.

    The Elders knew that the membership would never approve such a plan. Using the tools of the "Community Church Movement"(consultants, books, seminars, meetings,planters,seeders) they slowly started initiating change so it was never noticed by the members until it was too late.....

    At the heart of the plan was the fact that old members were going to be driven off so new techniques could be used to go out and reach the unchurched through new "Contemporary Holy Entertainment" methods developed by the "Community Church Movement"

    Old members had to be kept on board long enough to get their plans ready, or the funds would not be there to pay for the new building. So by the plans very nature, it had to be secret.

    The church had no plan in effect to renew or approve elders. There was never any need. The elders had always been "as approved by God". 10 of the last 15 elders would begin to shed some doubt on that.

    The Elders did not even need a majority at first, because some of the elders went along unwittingly.

    This edition starts shortly after some of the members begin to smell something strange in January 2001. Later editions may go back and fill in some of the timeline.

    To even start to understand whats happening here, you must read the background materials in the first of the book.

    This is only the first edition, and not the end. New editions will be printed as needed. To keep abreast of current changes, please visit our web site;

    Here is the list of players;
