Let's put it like this. The OC elders have determined through study of Scripture that there is nothing sinful in using instruments in worship. However, there are people who attend at OC who find it uncomfortable. Out of respect to that and to the heritage we have in the Churches of Christ, we do not use them on Sunday mornings.
Why would ELDERS deliberately offend the OWNERS even by having a Sunday evening PAGAN worship service when churches which DO NOT use music grow at the same rate?

First, you should know that the Greek PSALLO has its PRIMARY meaning of yanking out the hair (of a "youth minister"), of the bow string, to send a shaft twanging from a bow.
Secondly, it means play a stringed instrument with the fingers, and not with the plectron. These are connected with the MUSES or LOCUSTS as the Musical Worship Team of Apollyon in Revelation. John says that they are SORCERERS and God cannot USE sorcerers who silence the Word.
Because it is a BOW PLUCKING term you can NEVER use it to speak of using a guitar pick, blowing a flute or beating on a cymbal: These are the three instruments Lucifer/Zoe brought with him/her into the Garden of Eden as "the singing and harp playing prostitut." Historically being LIBERAL does not mean PERMISSIVE. That agrees with all of the Bible which says that the FALL at Mount Sinai (as it was in the garden of Eden) was based on Musical Idolatry of the Egyptian Triad. This also says that those who sing as a profession are HYPOCRITES. That is exactly what Jesus told the Scribes, Pharisees and HYPOCRITES and identified them as "speakers, singers and musicians."
