You Went Down in Flames--Again

June 30 2011, 12:59 PM

As I said earlier, when you try to "top the teacher," you often get burned. R* just went down in flames--again. When ARE you going to learn, R*? wink.gif

R* wrote: "Perfect timing Wave!" Can R* place the "sic" where it is needed? (Hint: It goes between "timing" and "Wave.")

R* failed to set off "Wave" with a comma, because "Wave" is the noun being directly addressed. The correct form is, "Perfect timing, Wave." Technically, that's also an incomplete sentence, but we can't burden R* with too much grammar and punctuation at one time; he might overload.

Here's a little anecdote for you. A woman wanted to put the following sentiment on a birthday cake for her husband: "Happy 80th Birthday, Tom." The folks at the bakery said they never put a comma after "Birthday" and were very obstinate about it. After consulting a grammarian at the local high school, the woman learned that adding the comma was correct. The woman so informed the bakery to add a comma after "Birthday." When she got the cake, the sentiment read, "Happy Birthday comma Tom." wink.gif

Mission Accomplished!

My goal from the beginning was to prove that Bill made mistakes in SGP just like everyone else does. I have proved that many times. Bill, I will no longer play the game with you.

You Got Burned; You Finally Learned!

June 30 2011, 8:47 PM

Since R* went down in flames, apparently for the last time, he finally learned that when you foolishly persist in trying to "top the teacher," YOU WILL GET BURNED. Let R*'s foolishness be an example for everyone.

Thus endeth the lesson. wink.gif

Give Me Your Best Shot!

June 29 2011, 4:21 PM

R* makes THE point William. The point is you wouldn't throw me a life preserver in the first place.
R* seems to have you pegged, like everyone else does.

Such Hatred

June 29 2011, 6:28 PM

Even though I said I would throw Dave a life preserver, Dave says that I would not. Dave must really bear such terrible malice and hate for him to think that I would actually let him drown. That's why it would be far MORE likely for Dave to refuse the life preserver that I would throw in the first place. His attitude suggests that he would rather drown than have the conservative Dr. Crump save him with a life preserver. That's cutting off your nose to spite your face (or in the case of drowning, cutting off the oxygen to spite your lungs). Your "Christian" attitude is abysmal to say the least, Dave. wink.gif

Get Rid of It

June 29 2011, 9:49 PM

Dave has been running on pure hatred ever since he started posting at this site. He really needs to get a grip and get rid of that hatred. If he doesn't, it'll eat him alive.

Why did you call me Dave, William? From you, "boy" sounded more appropriate for your maturity.

Re: Consistency!!!

Dave does have a point. An older man like Dr. Crump should refer to an especially immature person like Dave as "boy." wink.gif

Re: No....Again!

Well, Dave, since you're young and obviously still quite immature psychologically, we certainly couldn't expect you to be an accurate judge of maturity in others at this very early (perhaps regressed) stage in your development. We'll give you a dozen or so years for you to experience life a bit more and then see how you measure up. The young do want to grow up much too quickly, but you'll just have to be patient, my boy. wink.gif

...........................THE BOOK

What Happened at the Madison Church of Christ?

There are thousands of churches being taken over across America.

This book is only about one of those churches. It's about the Madison Church Of Christ. By studying the methods used here along with the resource references you might be able to inoculate your church. At the very least you will recognize the signs early on.

Many of the current members of the Madison Church of Christ still don't know what happened.
Some never will know! This book is for them as well.

Madison Church of Christ was a 60 year old church. At one time it was one of the largest churches in the US, and the largest Church of Christ.

It thrived for many years on the vision of it's elders and those of it's ministers. Those visions undoubtably came from the the inspired word of Jesus Christ.

At sometime in the last 10 years there was a deliberate plan by a majority of the elders to take the Madison Church of Christ into a more worldly realm.

They used secrecy, covert planning, and outside sources to scheme and to change the format and direction of the Madison Church of Christ.

The Elders knew that the membership would never approve such a plan. Using the tools of the "Community Church Movement"(consultants, books, seminars, meetings, planters, seeders) they slowly started initiating change so it was never noticed by the members until it was too late.....

At the heart of the plan was the fact that old members were going to be driven off so new techniques could be used to go out and reach the unchurched through new "Contemporary Holy Entertainment" methods developed by the "Community Church Movement"

Old members had to be kept on board long enough to get their plans ready, or the funds would not be there to pay for the new building. So by the plans very nature, it had to be secret.

The church had no plan in effect to renew or approve elders. There was never any need. The elders had always been "as approved by God". 10 of the last 15 elders would begin to shed some doubt on that.

The Elders did not even need a majority at first, because some of the elders went along unwittingly.

This edition starts shortly after some of the members begin to smell something strange in January 2001. Later editions may go back and fill in some of the timeline.

To even start to understand whats happening here, you must read the background materials in the first of the book.

This is only the first edition, and not the end. New editions will be printed as needed. To keep abreast of current changes, please visit our web site;

Here is the list of players;

5 Godly Elders
10 Not so Godly Elders
120 "Deacons" (allegiance unknown)
2,800 - 4,000 church "members"
2 "teners" (people who have publicly confessed to have broken all ten commandments)
Unknown number of "sinners" (This is what the 10 elders call us.)
Unknown number of "demons" (Flying everywhere, to many to count)
