Try it if you dare.....

I figured that since this site isn't about furthering the Gospel of Christ, then let it be what it should be and really is.....just an FYI site.

Thanks for permission.

All I know is what I read and my psychology is pretty weak. I have been trying to find a tutu to fit the musical performers but don't want to be a false confuser without a face-to-face high noon showdown.

I have been trying to understand why a person would keep posting the same thing over and over and over and over until I begin to suffer. I hope this is not too offensive since this is the age of Aquarius.

Perhaps for some light-hearted fun we should all share? Here are my quiz results.

July 7 2011, 7:34 PM

Results of your
Narcissistic Personality Quiz

Your Total: 10
Between 12 and 15 is average.
Celebrities often score closer to 18.
Narcissists score over 20.

Here's how you rated on the seven component traits of narcissism:

Narcissistic Trait Strength of Trait
Authority: 6.00
Self-Sufficiency: 1.00
Superiority: 1.00
Exhibitionism: 0.00
Exploitativeness: 1.00
Vanity: 0.00
Entitlement: 1.00

Below you will find a brief interpretation of each narcissism trait and what your score relative to that trait may indicate about you.

Authority

Authority refers to a person's leadership skills and power. People who score higher on authority like to be in charge and gain power, often for power's sake alone. You scored particularly high in authority, suggesting you see yourself as a leader or as someone who values power.

Self-Sufficiency

This trait refers to how self-sufficient a person is, that is, how much you rely on others versus your own abilities to meet your needs in life.

Superiority

This trait refers to whether a person feels they are more superior than those around them.

Exhibitionism

This trait refers to a person's need to be the center of attention, and willingness to ensure they are the center of attention (even at the expense of others' needs).

Exploitativeness

This trait refers to how willing you are to exploit others in order to meet your own needs or goals.

Vanity

This trait refers to a person's vanity, or their belief in one's own superior abilities and attractiveness compared to others.

Entitlement

This trait refers to the expectation and amount of entitlement a person has in their lives, that is, unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with one's expectations. People who score higher on this trait generally have a greater expectation of entitlement, while those who score lower expect little from others or life.

A Wet Blanket

July 8 2011, 1:16 AM

Well, Dave, the quiz YOU recommended for us to take told you something about me you didn't expect. You show your immaturity by being a wet blanket, boy. Had I scored anything over 20, you would have jumped for joy and praised the quiz for being right on target. As it stands, it soundly defeated your preconceived notions, so, naturally, you'll probably say the quiz is flawed. My score is actually LESS than average, meaning I'm even less likely to be a narcissist than the average person. You, on the other hand, reject anything that doesn't fit into your prejudiced little mind. That's why you scoff at my score, oh ye wet blanket. But facts are facts, boy.

BTW, what is YOUR score, or are you too afraid to tell us? Could it be that the quiz labeled YOU as a raving narcissist, you who smears everyone who disagrees with you? Hmmmmm?

Needless to say, I don't think Dave will ever post a link to any kind of quiz again. Maybe he's learned his lesson; then again, maybe not. wink.gif

July 8 2011, 9:28 AM

Thank you so much, Bill, for taking the quiz. Thank you even more, for posting your score.
PRICELESS!!!

William, for you, and at your request, I will take the test today and post my results. The test was never intended for anyone else.....but you. It provided some great discussion and conversation for several of us here. You....an 11? I may never get over that. As they say.....laughter.....the best medicine. Maybe not the best medicine, but certainly good. You have given several plenty of it the last few days.

Again, thanks so much.

You Can't Handle It

July 8 2011, 11:08 AM

Dave, you ole wet blanket, your quiz backfired. It gave you truthful results about me that you didn't expect, and you're just too dang immature to handle it. You are indeed a wet blanket.

Since I've convinced you to cast aside your fears and take the quiz, be sure you answer each question honestly, just as I did. And be sure to cut and paste your results exactly as they appear. You wouldn't want to fudge your answers and be known as a liar in addition to being unspeakably obnoxious, now would you, boy? wink.gif

Re: You Can't Handle It

July 9 2011, 2:08 AM

Brother Crump,

I intended for our submissions to be "light-hearted" fun, not a tool for rudeness and disrespectful behavior. Especially to speak of another brother as being a liar is unnecessary.

What do Brother Crump's daily remarks and put-downs of Brother Dave, R*, etc. have to do with change agents and the purity of the Lord's Church? Perhaps our concerned members website has lost its momentum and original focus? Perhaps Brother Crump is it's worst ambassador? Could Brother Brite's recent remarks about his irrelevancy to this site and the brotherhood be valid? The record shows for the past decade that Brother Crump is mostly interested in immature banter.

Looking forward to hearing Brother Crump's excuses for more of the same.

-Sonny

I agree with the "'light-hearted' fun" part.

In regard to "change agents," that issue needs to be addressed in response by/from the other side of the aisle. The silence from the other side seems to suggest acceptance of their agenda and schemes that cause division in congregations they acquire.

I agree with "rudeness and disrespectful behavior," but only as it's exhibited by all participants.

Experiment

July 8 2011, 9:38 AM

Because Dave either won't take the quiz or has taken it and is too embarrassed to post his score, I tried a little experiment. I put myself in Dave's place and answered the questions as Dave most likely would have. I cut-and-pasted the results below:

Your Total: 33
Between 12 and 15 is average.
Celebrities often score closer to 18.
Narcissists score over 20.
Because you scored 18 or higher, you may want to check out the symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder.

Authority: 8.00
Self-Sufficiency: 6.00
Superiority: 4.00
Exhibitionism: 6.00
Exploitativeness: 4.00
Vanity: 0.00
Entitlement: 5.00

Well, Dave, you ole wet blanket, until proven otherwise, YOU are CM's resident narcissist. wink.gif

Re: I No Longer Wonder

BTW, Dave, in the experiment, I forced myself to think like you and used your mindset and attitude as input to answer the questions. The result: You're a narcissist, oh yes indeed--hook--line--and sinker! Now the only way you can rid yourself of that presumptive stain is to take the quiz yourself--HONESTLY--as I did and post the exact results that prove you are not a narcissist.

Until then, YOU ARE CM'S RESIDENT NARCISSIST. OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHIES, BOY! wink.gif

I Still Wonder

July 9 2011, 10:48 AM

Hey Bill, when you took the test for me, you wouldn't have accidentally mistaken the first score for me, and the second score for you?
Or maybe you were just projecting yourself and traits....through your, supposedly, testing for me?
Remember, your credibility here and elsewhere has been deemed.....Nil & None!

Your Total: 6

Between 12 and 15 is average.
Celebrities often score closer to 18.
Narcissists score over 20.

Narcissistic Trait
Authority: 3.00
Self-Sufficiency: 1.00

So, since we now have revealed our personality traits, can we now put an end to one poster insisting that another poster is a narcissist or is narcissistic or has signs of narcissism?

Re: Oops!!! Where did I go wrong?

July 10 2011, 10:55 AM

Whadda ya know, Dave's "low" quiz score is just as surprising to me as my less-than-average score is to Dave. Oddly, Dave initially seemed reluctant to take the quiz and kept stalling for several days before he finally caved in. I believe Dave was actually frightened that the quiz might show he was a narcissist! He very well should have been scared out of his wits. Well, since he posted the link, he ultimaely HAD to take the quiz if he wanted to save face.

OK, since I'll give Dave the benefit of the DOUBT and assume he answered as honestly as I did, I am certainly willing to accept his "low" score. (Excuse me for a moment--BWAHAHAHAHA!! Sorry, but I just had to get that out of my system.) It's too bad that Dave is not mature enough to accept my score. At least we know that Sonny, Donnie, Dave (hmmm), and I are not narcissists. Those who would persist in labeling any one of us as narcissists only show their mean-spirited attitudes.

(Excuse me again--BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAAAAAAA!!!)

...........................THE BOOK

What Happened at the Madison Church of Christ?

There are thousands of churches being taken over across America.

This book is only about one of those churches. It's about the Madison Church Of Christ. By studying the methods used here along with the resource references you might be able to inoculate your church. At the very least you will recognize the signs early on.

Many of the current members of the Madison Church of Christ still don't know what happened.
Some never will know! This book is for them as well.

Madison Church of Christ was a 60 year old church. At one time it was one of the largest churches in the US, and the largest Church of Christ.

It thrived for many years on the vision of it's elders and those of it's ministers. Those visions undoubtably came from the the inspired word of Jesus Christ.

At sometime in the last 10 years there was a deliberate plan by a majority of the elders to take the Madison Church of Christ into a more worldly realm.

They used secrecy, covert planning, and outside sources to scheme and to change the format and direction of the Madison Church of Christ.

The Elders knew that the membership would never approve such a plan. Using the tools of the "Community Church Movement"(consultants, books, seminars, meetings, planters, seeders) they slowly started initiating change so it was never noticed by the members until it was too late.....

At the heart of the plan was the fact that old members were going to be driven off so new techniques could be used to go out and reach the unchurched through new "Contemporary Holy Entertainment" methods developed by the "Community Church Movement"

Old members had to be kept on board long enough to get their plans ready, or the funds would not be there to pay for the new building. So by the plans very nature, it had to be secret.

The church had no plan in effect to renew or approve elders. There was never any need. The elders had always been "as approved by God". 10 of the last 15 elders would begin to shed some doubt on that.

The Elders did not even need a majority at first, because some of the elders went along unwittingly.

This edition starts shortly after some of the members begin to smell something strange in January 2001. Later editions may go back and fill in some of the timeline.

To even start to understand whats happening here, you must read the background materials in the first of the book.

This is only the first edition, and not the end. New editions will be printed as needed. To keep abreast of current changes, please visit our web site; http://www.concernedmembers.com/madison

Here is the list of players;

5 Godly Elders
10 Not so Godly Elders
120 "Deacons" (allegiance unknown)
2,800 - 4,000 church "members"
2 "teners" (people who have publicly confessed to have broken all ten commandments)
Unknown number of "sinners" (This is what the 10 elders call us.)
Unknown number of "demons" (Flying everywhere, to many to count)
