It is a fact that ACU has long been an ANTI church of Christ sump of prelatal pride. One might be Anti Church of Christ without seeming to be fools and simpletons.

http://www.piney.com/Elaine.Heath.ACU.Summit.2012.html

Elaine believes that girls prophesying was something for all times and gives women the right to be pastors, speak in tongues, and restore monastic cells to reach those who won't come to church. A better solution would be for Elaine to GO into all of the world.

She claims that Jesus had a HOUSE and that He must have lied about not having a place to lay His head. Having proven her point then the House of Jesus open to the sky is the pattern for small enclaves (communes) to cluster and do centering prayer (sounds witchy). People will be attracted to these small houses who would never go to church. However, the context proves that Jesus WENT OUT to preach as HIS PATTERN and He attended and taught in the synagogues or "church houses."

She sees "prophesying" or teaching as what is well documented as the insane gibberish of mostly pagan Mad Women of Corinth.

Elaine using the old "you are a failure" to prove that the old VISION from God doesn't work any longer.

Elaine Heath screwy academic

July 6 2012, 2:38 AM

I Googled Elaine Heath. I reviewed here popular publications and looked at the summaries of her journal articles. You can get an idea from the Huffington Post link below. If you search around you can find the texts on the Internet.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/elaine-a-heath/the-gospel-according-to-twilight_b_958630.html

The Gospel according to Twilight: Women, Sex, and God
The books grew into a dark tower on my coffee table, one vampire novel after another. It was Christmas time, hardly the season of the year to focus on the undead, but I was getting ready to teach a new class on the Gospel in Pop Culture, and I needed to find out why Twilight broke publishing and box office records. This was a theological story, too. And it was full of messages about gender.

Mystic Way of Evangelism, The: A Contemplative Vision for Christian Outreach

Longing for Spring: A New Vision for Wesleyan Community

We Were the Least of These: Reading the Bible with Survivors of Sexual Abuse

Naked Faith: The Mystical Theology of Phoebe Palmer

She writes personal essays more than anything else, and of her own work she often uses the term hermeneutics (which concerns the study of the interpretation of the Bible). But her interpretations are definitely made up as she goes along. She commonly misinterprets her own philosophy as the Biblical intention. Certainly not everything she has written or has to say is wrong. There is some good information in We Were the Least of These, along with some mish mash, but The Gospel According to Twilight? Really. Such garbage.

Perhaps ACU is doing this for the shock value or the entertainment value, but then the question arises as to whom are they shocking or entertaining? Well, us, perhaps.

ACU and who they like

July 6 2012, 4:52 AM

I see this items as another promoter of post modern ideas. I suggest she has been greatly influenced by a professor of higher learning somewhere who doesn't believe in very much of true religion. While some may promote the information provided in these writings as fresh religion it is really a secular invasion of religion with many errors and falsehoods. Truth in this case is being promoted as the changing philosophy of the day which is not the power of God unto salvation.

I heard a faithful preacher say many years ago that when the discipline of the scriptures is lost then society wanders in every direction looking for something about God and nothing of value will ever be found.

Men and Women need the steady and consistent warnings of the second coming and judgement and the need to have repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. Its the only way to God.

Re: ACU and who they like

Tim Sensing is doing a "survey" to determine whether kids from the church of Christ undersand the EUCHARIST meaning of the Lord's Supper. Elaine Heath being honored at ACU also preaches the Eucharist in the Catholic sense and works for women to b able to "handle" the elements.

The concept of OPEN FELLOWSHIP has been practiced at ACU (I believe) with a show and tell Lord's Supper preaching unity: with many of the Christian Churches that would include fellowship with the unbaptized. The Blogger-Doggers also promote fellowsship with "whatever you think. In doing some research on Tim Sensing's dogma probabably representing ACU, I did some word studies. Eating the Supper in an UNWORTHY way and not discerning THE BODY, the REQUIREMENT is that you do not make the Lord's Supper a public spectacle before the watching world and FELLOWSHIP only those who have been baptized and added to THE BODY. In Troas they met in an upper room and in several historical notes both the singing of Psalms and the Lord's Supper was moved to another room and was not a public display.

If unbelievers (refuse to be baptized) are present you do not meet the requirements Jesus exampled and Paul commanded. I am working on this one but since I have one table prepared for Tim Sensing and ACU review, I will post it. If words have any meaning it would NOT permit Supper Fellowship with instrumental unbelievers.

The Dithramb was the singy-clappy form of singing which intentionally causes the body to move in 'harmony." That is the meaning of music.

http://www.piney.com/Heredotus1.html

Hdt. 1.23 Periander, who disclosed the oracle's answer to Thrasybulus, was the son of Cypselus, and sovereign of Corinth. The Corinthians say (and the Lesbians agree) that the most marvellous thing that happened to him in his life was the landing on Taenarus of Arion of Methymna, brought there by a dolphin. This Arion was a lyre-player second to none in that age; he was the first man whom we know to compose and name the dithyramb1 which he afterwards taught at Corinth.

1 The dithyramb was a kind of dance-music particularly associated with the cult of Dionysus.

That is the Old New Wineskin mark of those trying to force everong to sing and dance while they piped.

...........................THE BOOK

What Happened at the Madison Church of Christ?

There are thousands of churches being taken over across America.

This book is only about one of those churches. It's about the Madison Church Of Christ. By studying the methods used here along with the resource references you might be able to inoculate your church. At the very least you will recognize the signs early on.

Many of the current members of the Madison Church of Christ still don't know what happened.
Some never will know! This book is for them as well.

Madison Church of Christ was a 60 year old church. At one time it was one of the largest churches in the US, and the largest Church of Christ.

It thrived for many years on the vision of it's elders and those of it's ministers. Those visions undoubtably came from the the inspired word of Jesus Christ.

At sometime in the last 10 years there was a deliberate plan by a majority of the elders to take the Madison Church of Christ into a more worldly realm.

They used secrecy, covert planning, and outside sources to scheme and to change the format and direction of the Madison Church of Christ.

The Elders knew that the membership would never approve such a plan. Using the tools of the "Community Church Movement"(consultants, books, seminars, meetings, planters, seeders) they slowly started initiating change so it was never noticed by the members until it was too late.....

At the heart of the plan was the fact that old members were going to be driven off so new techniques could be used to go out and reach the unchurched through new "Contemporary Holy Entertainment" methods developed by the "Community Church Movement"

Old members had to be kept on board long enough to get their plans ready, or the funds would not be there to pay for the new building. So by the plans very nature, it had to be secret.

The church had no plan in effect to renew or approve elders. There was never any need. The elders had always been "as approved by God". 10 of the last 15 elders would begin to shed some doubt on that.

The Elders did not even need a majority at first, because some of the elders went along unwittingly.

This edition starts shortly after some of the members begin to smell something strange in January 2001. Later editions may go back and fill in some of the timeline.

To even start to understand whats happening here, you must read the background materials in the first of the book.

This is only the first edition, and not the end. New editions will be printed as needed. To keep abreast of current changes, please visit our web site; http://www.concernedmembers.com/madison

Here is the list of players;

5 Godly Elders
10 Not so Godly Elders
120 "Deacons" (allegiance unknown)
2,800 - 4,000 church "members"
2 "teners" (people who have publicly confessed to have broken all ten commandments)
Unknown number of "sinners" (This is what the 10 elders call us.)
Unknown number of "demons" (Flying everywhere, to many to count)
