Doug Hurley Your Sons and Daughters shall Prophesy at ACU

Several of the present and past teachers at ACU are making a major drive to find a role in your church for a Female Prophesier.

http://www.piney.com/Doug.Hurley.Your.Sons.and.Daughters.Shall.Prophesy.ACU.html

This is consistent with the LU female drive for Ignatian Meditation and "using your imagination" to interpret Scripture. This along with the female and effeminate musical worship teams defines the Levites prophesying which is defined as soosthsaying or sorcery or witchcraft.

1 Corinthians 1

http://www.piney.com/1.Corinthians.1.html

Paul always EXCLUDES certain people and activities. For instance the WISE will be excluded based on prophecy. Paul asks WHERE are those wise? Well a wise person is a SOPHISTS: professional speakers, singers, instrument players and actors. Jesus called them hypocrites by pointing to Ezekiel 13

One of the silliest, Bible-empty whine coming out of ACU these days that Churches of Christ mistreat their women by not USING them by exposing them to the gaze of men lusting for something new.

http://www.piney.com/Ken.Cukrowski.Women.Ministry.ACU.html

Wiley Clarkson confesses to feeling closer to heaven and we have to remind people that the "feeling" from slick speakers, singers and instrument players is that female kinda thing Paul called WRATH. Cukrowski thinks that the men too their ANGER out on people while praying (like some preachers.). In fact wrath is orge or ORGY which defined what Madison is trying to stroke up.

I have done a quick take on Rick Atchleys The Law of Silence. It is clear that he floats like a butterfly and does not have a remote hint about the Bible since he can fabricate or extricate sermons from the web or from the NACC. His video in jester suit really makes me wonder.

Paul commanded that the elders TEACH THAT WHICH HAS BEEN TAUGHT. Therefore, your elders are probably SELF-SELECTED and are not Christians and therefore cannot be an elder of the Lord.

Mike Cope and the 2013 Annual bible Lectures will look at Revelation 5 by David Clayton.

http://www.piney.cope/Pepperdone.Lectures.2013.Revelation.5.html

David's sermon on Revelation sees lots of music and rejoicing because of the "harps." He misses the point and, Pepperdine will miss the fact that Revelation 5 etc. proves that the Church under the rule of Christ proves that the ELDERS and BEASTS or governments and Levite-like musical worship deceivers will NOT be in the kingdom of Christ.

Since the stated purpose is to DIRECT young preachers away from the traditional Churches of Christ we will need to review a few more chapters in Revelation.

Barbara Rossing will be at Pepperdine 2013 to debunk the rapture. Well, it's certain that when we "lift off" will never return. However, what theologians are NOT permitted to know is that the RAPTURE is now taking place among all of those groups which fell for the NEW STYLE OF MUSIC AND DRAMA: the definition of the Beast.

If you have ever seen the video that Rick Atchley did for those churches that were going to add instrumental music, he makes a comment that suggest that the church needs to have positions for the talent that comes from the Christian schools. I believe Rick's true intent is to make churches just a employeer site for religious drama graduates. I think that good people in the church need to wake up and give their contribution directly to the needy and by pass the administrative fees that are collected through our churches. I know that more good will come from that, rather than contribute to a secular church service. The church that Rick Atchley is advocating is not built on the love of Jesus, but is built on the full collection plate. I don't see any person like Rick Atchley following the life of Jesus as much as I see them following the life of Judas.

We need to teach people to shun The Rick Atcley's of the world and start loving people the way Jesus did.

AM would carry us from one extreme to the other

December 2 2012, 10:33 PM

How we manage our personal charity is up to us, including how comfortable we are with the congregation that we attend. Remember that in Paul's time some who preached supported themselves (tent making)and others were paid (Cephas). Some congregations do fine work, and in many places the existence of a building and a preacher are in themselves a part of the missionary outreach of spreading of the gospel. In many other places the preacher is a teacher, or sells insurance, and that is o.k., too. Many congregations participate in the spirit of giving honor to all men but to the household of faith first. Especially this time of year.

Unless you know how to find a specific individual or a specific family to help there are always going to be "administrative fees." I no longer participate in UGF, for instance, but it is a personal matter. I give small sums to various charities, including the Church of Christ Relief organization, which is detested by some. However, how does my congregation know where to put its best resources? We could give to a specific congregation as we did after 9/11, we could give to specific individuals who stop by from time to time, and we do, and we could help local families both in and out of the Brotherhood, which we do. Are you suggesting that if a congregation chooses to hire a "professional" to look after a "ministery" that is unbiblical? Most charity and benevolence are managed by volunteers, deacons usually, who are totally unpaid and also amateurs.

If you are linking your thoughts to what seemingly is an effort to change a congregation into a mega-church, I think that you are correct. Congregations with multiple ministers of this and that have to first collect the pay of the ministers. Unfortunately, to do that entices them to bring in people any way they can, sometimes with pagan-like activities, sometimes by "holy entertainment", etc., but in most cases you can rely on the money that you give to your congregation being used appropriately. We should not become overly cynical.

Re: AM would carry us from one extreme to the other

We agree there are the pressures for churches to become Mega-churches. Our elders made a comment that for every one hundred people there needs to be a staff member, according to some church growth standard. When there was a budget surplus, they removed the song leader(who was there out of love) and hired a worship minister(who will be there until the next Pay offer comes around). I have found that the people that attend church for no other reason than to try and follow what is believed to be right in the eyes of God, tend to go to any length to make the church a great place to be. An employee on the other hand has his/her set hours and his/her job description, which can be frustrating to any employee that has to answer for a pay check. The employee's motives could be an agenda that is contrary to Christ life. It is sickening to me to hear Rick Atchley speak to wanting to retire on the money that he took from the people that sacrificed to his cause and often times those giving people are not be able to retire due to financial reasons. Could Rick not get a job and support the work like everyone else does and teach people about Jesus out of pure conviction and Love? He is showing everyone a way, which is not the way Jesus taught us. Jesus never passed a collection plate to support himself or had anyone else collect money for him. Christ did pass the "collection plate" to provide for people in need, but never for himself. He did encourage people to work their trade and benefit monetarily from that exchange.

Also, would Jesus be considered a professional by our standards today? He did not have a degree and he did not teach that we had to be certified by an educational process to receive the Holy spirit. There can be found the universal appeal of the message of Christ, you need to believe and obey which is the only qualification for the Journey, not a degree. There are many places that would sell such degrees and elderships seem to value an individual with a degree over the good Christ-like member, when it comes to ministering to the congregation.

Re: Rick Atchley at Pepperdine 2013's subversion on Revelation the Seven Churches

December 3 2012, 12:47 PM

The Spirit OF Christ defined the future REST day both inclusively as a School of the Word: excluded was "vocal or instrumental rejoicing" and that included high-sounding rhetoric all defined as the hypocritic arts and crafts.

http://www.piney.com//Isaiah.55.Word.Spirit.html

Christ actually FORBIDS you to pay for the free water of the Word. Music is popular because it is most powerful in "making the lambs dumb before the slaughter==the job of the Parasite" and lifting them up to cut their throats (the slaughter priest or Heretic)

Because "church" as we know it is a distortion of the Qahal, synagogue or Church of Christ (the Rock) in the wilderness, I have had to conclude that anyone who makes "pastoring" a PROFESSION (seeing godliness as a means of financial gain) cannot either know nor practice what Jesus died to give us free of charge.

" Jesus never passed a collection plate to support himself...."

December 3 2012, 11:50 PM

AM (December 3, 2012, 8:39 a.m.): "When there was a budget surplus, they removed the song leader(who was there out of love) and hired a worship minister(who will be there until the next Pay offer comes around). ... Jesus never passed a collection plate to support himself or had anyone else collect money for him. Christ did pass the 'collection plate' to provide for people in need, but never for himself."

Regardless of the process of the "collection" or "contribution" or "gatherings," let us not forget the purpose of giving.

It is "concerning the collection for the saints" (I Cor. 16:1,2)

It is about "to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem" Rom. 15:25-26,31).

From the message above by AM, we also find a good differentiation between: (a) someone who leads singing [who is there "out of love" or voluntarily] and (b) an administrative employee with the man-ordained church office of "Worship Leader."

The latter is a man-ordained "church office" -- often more well-known than the "office of an elder."

The secular job of "musical director" turned into a full-time "spiritual office" of a wagging musician for 3 hours per week certainly contributes to the spread of what appears to be an incurable "staff infection." At the expense of what's being collected for the needy saints!!!

Know your bible

December 11 2012, 11:24 AM

I suggest we consider what some of the older preachers still taught 50 - 60 years ago.

That is Prov. 4 was talking about keeping wisdom and knowledge of God first in the mind. Verse 13 says to "keep a firm hold on instruction and do not let go" . In verse 5 the Spirit says "do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth". If we do that there are far fewer digressive ideas that will trouble the Lords people and those persons that promote digression will not be rewarded with positions of influence.

This idea of "unless specifically forbidden it is ok" is one example of persons diving into the wisdom of men to justify what the canal mind of flesh wants to do. True religion is not about self glory but sacrifice to and praise of GOD.

Re: Rick Atchley at Pepperdine 2013's New Law of Silence

December 13 2012, 3:54 PM

The Law of silence is that if God "hath not said 'thou shalt not play instruments' then we gonna play instruments, sow discord and cause the owners to FLEE from the eternal and universal mark of the gay troubadors. They are BLASPHEMERS even if they are ignorant that Christ defined the future reign of Jesus.

http://www.piney.com/Blasphemy.Spirit.Word.Christ.html

Churches of Christ have historical just honored the text and tried to teach it as it has been taught. They are wise enough to know that if you get in out of the rain that does not diminish teaching and admonishing one another. Listen to their "let's make a fool of the fleecees" sermons and you know that they work as a profession (seeing godliness as a means of financial gain) rather than a love of teaching the Word.

Ezekiel 13 and promoters of instrumental music

December 17 2012, 7:48 PM

Concerning this new "law of silence" I am reminded of the narrative in Ezekiel 13 concerning those who spew prophecy (teaching) out of their own mind. In vs 2,3 the spirit says they have seen nothing, that is the mind has seen nothing of what they teach in Gods will. It is not in the word of God and is a spiritual sham. Consider that those whose mind is centered on Gods law - meditating day and night there is no time to play with denominational ideas and practices.

If we study the Bible as we should we will see the point made that false teachers and leaders have been around for thousands of years - note the words in vs 6-7 that false divination and false visions will be offered to Gods elect as "thus says the Lord".

Remember the words in this chapter that the Lord has not sent these people nor has he spoken anywhere that New Testament worship includes non-worshiping instruments. It is a device of satan to divide and reduce our compliance to the great commission and the fruits of the Spirit. It is a strategic move to hamper right living.

Hippolytus Book V - The Refutation of All Heresies - Satan Worship

http://www.piney.com/FathHippolAnt5.html

They rashly assume in this manner, that whatsoever things have been said and done by all men, (may be made to harmonize) with their own particular mental view, alleging that ALL things become spiritual. Whence likewise they assert, that those exhibiting themselves in theatres, not even these say or do anything without premeditation.

Therefore, he says, when, on the people assembling in the theatres, any one enters clad in a remarkable robe, carrying a harp and playing a tune (upon it, accompanying it) with a song of the great mysteries, he speaks as follows, not knowing what he says:

"Whether (thou art) the race of Saturn (Satans) or happy Jupiter, or mighty Rhea (ZOE, Eve), Hail, Attis, gloomy mutilation of Rhea. Assyrians style thee thrice-longed-for Adonis, and the whole of Egypt (calls thee) Osiris, celestial horn of the moon; [The bull, Apis, at Sinai] Greeks denominate (thee) Wisdom; Samothracians, venerable Adam; Haemonians, Corybas; and them Phrygians (name thee) at one time Papa, at another time Corpse, or God, or Fruitless, or Aipolos, or green Ear of Corn that has been reaped, or whom the very fertile Amygdalus produced-a man, a musician."

This, he says, is multiform Attis, whom while they celebrate in a hymn, they utter these words:

"I will hymn Attis, son of Rhea, not with the buzzing sounds of trumpets, or of Idaean pipers, which accord with (the voices of) the Curetes; but I will mingle (my song) with Apollo's music of harps, evoe, evan, ' inasmuch as thou art Pan, as thou art Bacchus, as thou art shepherd of brilliant stars."

On account of these and such like reasons, these constantly attend the mysteries called those of the "Great Mother,"supposing especially that they behold by means of the ceremonies performed there the entire mystery. [Moved into the presence of the gods with music]

For these have nothing more than the ceremonies that are performed there, except that they are not emasculated:they merely complete the work of the emasculated.

For with the utmost severity and vigilance they enjoin (on their votaries) to abstain, as if they were emasculated, from intercourse with a woman. The rest, however, of the proceeding (observed in these mysteries), as we have declared at some length, (they follow) just as (if they were) emasculated persons. And they do not worship any other object but Naas, (from thence) being styled Naasseni.

But Naas is the serpent from whom, i.e., from the word Naas, (the Naassene) says, are all that under heaven are denominated temples (Naos). And (he states) that to him alone-that is, Naas-is dedicated every shrine and every initiatory rite, and every mystery; and, in general, that a religious ceremony could not be discovered under heaven, in which a temple (Naos) has no existence; and in the temple itself is Naas, from whom it has received its denomination of temple (Naos)

Re: Ken Cukrowski Wiley Clarkson Sowing Gender Discord

January 2 2013, 3:18 PM

What began at Madison stays at Madison: It was Rubel Shelly and Steve Flatt repeating Rubel's Sermons who brought you the JUBILEE. It was about 1984 that Rubel accepted the Pope's call for Jubilee 2000. Jubilee means with JUBILATION says the LU professors. And it intends to RESTORE ALL OF THE PROPERTY TO THE TRIBAL LEADERS on a 50 year Cycle. Rubel recommended the Aztec pattern where on a 52 week but mostly 52 year cycle you BURN DOWN all of the tribal houses. You sacrifice up to 20,000 of the enemy (traditionalists anti-instrumentals) and you cut out the heart of the SCAPE GOAT person and light a NEW FIRE in his chest. You have REBUILT all of the tribal houses and you RELIGHT the fire from the central pyramid.

This was PREDESTINATED and you should not expect that posting all of the contrary evidence will hinder those who began intending to restructure ALL churches of Christ to "a new style of music" (definition of the BEAST) with a new leadership and USING WOMEN in performing roles.

Ken Cukrowski issued a CALL for God to send down a Holy Fire.

http://www.piney.com/Gods.Holy.Fire.ACU.html

He has RELIT the fires at ACU and Pepperdine for restoring FEMALE PROPHETS who are now authorized to do what Paul clearly condemned. They don't grasp that Paul condemned the COVERED males who stimulated wrath: Ken thinks it means GETTING MAD during prayers: the FACT is that the word means ORGY. Orgy is singing, clapping and USING women to arouse the males or maybe women tool.

It really seems IMPOSSIBLE for such people to read the text and look where Paul and others always pointed. Here is some stuff IDENTIFYING MADISON.

Negro Spirituals
The tunes and the beats, before 1865

http://www.negrospirituals.com/

The very first negro spirituals were inspired by African music even if the tunes were not far from those of hymns. Some of them, which were called shouts were accompanied with typical dancing including hand clapping and foot tapping.

SHOUTS
After regular a worship service, congregations used to stay for a ring shout. It was a survival of primitive African dance. So, educated ministers and members placed a ban on it. The men and women arranged themselves in a ring. The music started, perhaps with a Spiritual, and the ring began to move, at first slowly, then with quickening pace. The same musical phrase was repeated over and over for hours. This produced an ecstatic state. Women screamed and fell. Men, exhausted, dropped out of the ring

Some African American religious singing at this time was referred as a moan (or a groan). Moaning (or groaning) does not imply pain. It is a kind of blissful rendition of a song, often mixed with humming and spontaneous melodic variation.

The lyrics before 1865

In the early nineteenth century, African Americans were involved in the Second Awakening. They met in camp meetings and sang without any hymnbook. Spontaneous songs were composed on the spot. They were called spiritual songs and the term sperichil (spiritual) appeared for the first time in the book Slave Songs of The United States (by Allen, Ware, Garrison, 1867).

By the way, African Americans used to sing outside of churches. During slavery and afterwards, slaves and workers who were working at fields or elsewhere outdoors, were allowed to sing work songs. This was the case, when they had to coordinate their efforts for hauling a fallen tree or any heavy load. Even prisoners used to sing chain gang songs when they worked on the road or on some construction project.

But some drivers also allowed slaves to sing quiet songs, if they were not apparently against slaveholders. Such songs could be sung either by only one soloist or by several slaves. They were used for expressing personal feeling and for cheering one another. So, even at work, slaves could sing secret messages. This was the case of negro spirituals, which were sung at church, in meetings, at work and at home.

They actually quote Scripture for the practice. We have noted that Christ said that God DID NOT command the temple or anything related to it. In the prophets He warns about the "lying pen of the Scribes" and Jesus calls them HYPOCRITES pointing to the speakers, singers and instrument players.

David, together with the commanders of the army, set apart some of the sons of Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun for the ministry of prophesying, accompanied by harps, lyres and cymbals. Here is the list of the men who performed this service: 1 Chronicles 25:1NIV

Abodah (h5656) ab-o-daw'; from 5647; work of any kind: - act, bondage, / bondservant, effect, labour, ministering (-try), office, service (-ile, -itude), tillage, use, work, * wrought

Ebed (h5650) eh'-bed; from 5647; a servant: - * bondage, bondman, [bond-] servant, (man-) servant.

Abad (h5647) aw-bad'; a prim. root; to work (in any sense); by impl. to serve, till, (caus.) enslave, etc.: - * be, keep in bondage, be bondmen, bond-service, compel, do, dress, ear, execute, / husbandman, keep, labour (-ing man), bring to pass, (cause to, make to) serve (-ing, self), (be, become) servant (-s), do (use) service, till (-er), transgress [from margin], (set a) work, be wrought, worshipper.

So those who use the Jacob-Cursed and God-abandoned Levites as their PATTERN clearly intend to engage you in spiritual slavery so that you will serve the MASSA or alpha males.

The Meaning of the Musicians

And Solomon told out three score and ten thousand men to bear burdens, and fourscore thousand to hew in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred to oversee (excel) them. 2Chr 2:2

And the men did the work faithfully: and the overseers of them were Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites, of the sons of Merari; and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of the Kohathites, to set it forward; and other of the Levites, all that could skill of instruments of musick. 2Chr.34:12

"Other expressions of popular singing are the working songs, of which the early rabbinic literature speaks with contempt." (Interpreters Dictionary of the Bible, p. 460, Abingdon).

Those who "set forward" the work of the temple excelled which means:

Nacach (h5329) naw-tsakh'; to glitter from afar, to be eminent as a superintendent, especially of the Temple services and its music; also to be permanent, to excel, chief musician, singer, overseer, set forward. (The Worship team or Minister of Music is the overseer or anxiety inducer).

Of which, twenty and four thousand were to set forward the work of the house of the Lord; and six thousand were officers and judges: 1Chr.23:4

They TURN THE TRICK by convincing the foolish (most) that they are serving God. Christ in the prophets called them robbers and PARASITES. A parasite eats up the widow's homes while producing NOTHING IN RETURN.

You don't look up, you don't look down
You don't dare make the rich boss frown
Bend your knees and bow your head
And tote that barge until you're dead

Tote that barge, lift that bale,
you get a little drunk [fluted down]
And you land in ja-ail
I get weary and so sick of tryin'

becoming like nations around us

January 3 2013, 8:19 PM

When I read all these digressive ideas I think of Jeremiah 6 and 7 where God's evaluation of his people is given.

We cannot buy into the logic of american society and those who run denominations and schools of "higher learning"

American society is full of the works of the flesh and covetousness - denominations are full of error and strain themselves to become acceptable to social and political "problem solving" and "political correctness" .

Jeremiah is our approved example when he was instructed to tell the people to amend your ways and hear the word of the lord. That is exactly what we should be doing if we count ourselves to be faithful to the lord. Forget the radical left feminists and those spineless ones among us - God sets the standard and will judge us by our works. The faithful will not trust in lying words that cannot profit!

...........................THE BOOK

What Happened at the Madison Church of Christ?

There are thousands of churches being taken over across America.

This book is only about one of those churches. It's about the Madison Church Of Christ. By studying the methods used here along with the resource references you might be able to inoculate your church. At the very least you will recognize the signs early on.

Many of the current members of the Madison Church of Christ still don't know what happened.
Some never will know! This book is for them as well.

Madison Church of Christ was a 60 year old church. At one time it was one of the largest churches in the US, and the largest Church of Christ.

It thrived for many years on the vision of it's elders and those of it's ministers. Those visions undoubtably came from the the inspired word of Jesus Christ.

At sometime in the last 10 years there was a deliberate plan by a majority of the elders to take the Madison Church of Christ into a more worldly realm.

They used secrecy, covert planning, and outside sources to scheme and to change the format and direction of the Madison Church of Christ.

The Elders knew that the membership would never approve such a plan. Using the tools of the "Community Church Movement"(consultants, books, seminars, meetings, planters, seeders) they slowly started initiating change so it was never noticed by the members until it was too late.....

At the heart of the plan was the fact that old members were going to be driven off so new techniques could be used to go out and reach the unchurched through new "Contemporary Holy Entertainment" methods developed by the "Community Church Movement"

Old members had to be kept on board long enough to get their plans ready, or the funds would not be there to pay for the new building. So by the plans very nature, it had to be secret.

The church had no plan in effect to renew or approve elders. There was never any need. The elders had always been "as approved by God". 10 of the last 15 elders would begin to shed some doubt on that.

The Elders did not even need a majority at first, because some of the elders went along unwittingly.

This edition starts shortly after some of the members begin to smell something strange in January 2001. Later editions may go back and fill in some of the timeline.

To even start to understand whats happening here, you must read the background materials in the first of the book.

This is only the first edition, and not the end. New editions will be printed as needed. To keep abreast of current changes, please visit our web site; http://www.concernedmembers.com/madison
